Johann Ewald: Jäger Commander

Used it to assist me in my historical presentation.

I love this book. Author has synthesized...and well...all the pertinent primary and secondary sources on this topic. He went into some detail on what happened in Hessen-Kassel during the Seven Years War...how it was stripped clean by the French and Austrians. Aside from taking us through the American rebellion, the author fully explained and exemplified Ewald's conduct and thoughts on "Small War" tactics, etc. I esp. enjoyed the foot notes and bibliography.
