Oh my gosh these are absolutely the best finns I have ever used granted I am a little limited on the amount of finns that I have used but I have tried approximately 10 different pairs. My dive instructor had a pair of these in the older model he and I both have back problems as well as knee problems and have had surgery for both he swore by his so being the cheap guy I am I found a set of look alikes from another manufacturer that were about $30 cheaper and I purchased them I was pretty happy with them not knowing any different but kept noticing my ankles and lower back was really sore at the end of every dive so I asked to borrow his and try them out they were completely different, although they look exactly the same the cheaper Finns we're very stiff and had lots of resistance I purchased these Finns hoping they would be like my dive instructors to my delight they are not like my dive instructors they are way way better , they require little to no effort to use my legs, back and ankles don't hurt and I can click along at a very fast pace if need be they are very easy to turn with and even though it says they do not respond well to frog paddle type swimming they seem to work great there as well! I have nothing but good things to say and would highly recommend these finns to anyone else that has back pain leg pain or has had surgery in the past.

They are awesome and powerful.
I live on Lake Superior and I love these. I have to be careful with them as I can leave my dive buddy behind. He has a Tusa no split fin and is a dive instructor. These are so efficient that with a lazy flutter kick I can pull away from him. I did have to get used to making sure the buckles and straps are good and tight. I lost one the first time I used them in the lake as I had not pulled them tight enough at about 10 minutes into my dive and 30' of water. They had been adjusted for the pool and no boots vs lake and a full 7mm wetsuit and 43 degree water. I have since upgraded to the spring retention system and they are great. They should come with the springs but oh well. I would buy these again in a heartbeat.

Great fin
I've been diving with these fins almost daily for a month. The pro's of these fins are they are a powerful fin, comfortable, look great and easy to get on and off and adjust easily. The cons are that the strap attaches to the fin using a clip that seems to detach alot easier than it should. I actually lost a clip because of this. I also found that the sizing was larger than expected and so I could not use them without dive booties, although in fairness it does say 10 -14 and I'm an 11 1/2. They are quite long, which is great for power but for travel it's not ideal....Overall I love these fins and I think the pro's far outweigh the cons. For the money I think this is a great option.New TUSA Xpert Zoom Z-3 Open Heel Split Fins - Flourescent Neon Yellow (Size 10-14/Large to X-Large)

Awesome
These are great fins. My daughter didn't like using fins, and complained about them, because she didn't know how good she had it. Then after she got used to them, she took off faster than I could have, and was swimming all over the reef. I should take them and let her use my old straight fins, so she can realize how great hers are. My wife absolutely loves them, and says that she doesn't care how big, or heavy they are, if we go somewhere that has swimming, these are going with us even if we have to special ship them.Update: the last time my daughter went swimming without fins, she said she felt like she couldn't go anywhere. So, she obviously loves them now. I tried them out, and since I am so used to long stiff fins, even though they worked great, I still prefer the more firm kick of my older fins.

Great fins!
I wanted to purchase a 2nd pair of fins for diving. I previously bought a pair of TUSA a few years ago, which I really liked, so decided to stick with TUSA. I have wide feet and wear booties with my fins. The TUSA fit perfectly and they're lightweight. I used them yesterday on a pretty rough dive (drift dive with 5 feet seas). As I was getting back on the dive boat, I was getting tossed around pretty bad trying to hand up my fins, pull myself towards the boat on the line, and getting back on the ladder. I lost grip on one of my fins and watched it start drifting down. Luckily one of the other divers saw it and was able to grab it. She told me that she saw it go down, but the fin started to float back up making it easy to grab. Good thing since I just bought these! We were doing a drift dive so there was a moderate current. You can definitely swim through a current with ease.

Love these fins
Love these fins. I've been scuba diving and free diving for over 20 years, recently went to Hawaii and used the fins in scuba, snorkeling and free diving, and was very please with the performance. the fins are great looking and durable construction. Good responsiveness, and no fatiguing of the foot shin or calf muscles. I would recommend these.

Power and comfort
Huge upgrade over regular fins, wish I had gotten them ages ago. Comfortable, great power, seem to cure calf cramps. I wear scuba booties with them, more comfy that way
