What a charming little book! I'm impressed with the quality of it. The cover has a unique feel to it, the illustrations are lovely and there are varying typefaces throughout which adds interest and draws attention to important information. A number of basic crystals are covered, along with a couple I've never heard of. Each crystal also includes "Fun Facts", "Did You Know" and "Hot Tips". There are instructions on choosing your crystals and how to charge them; I think this is important because many people don't know they need to do this in order to work with them properly. This book would be an awesome gift not only for beginners, but also those of us who are already acquainted with the beauty and power of crystals. Due to the physical quality of the item, it is very giftable. Such a lovely book... I highly recommend it!

There’s nothing that I can pinpoint as being bad about this book, but it just wasn’t great. The pictures are nice, but so many of the crystal descriptions are the same.
