Most Dangerous Movie-Maker in Hollywood
A former "Victoria's Secret" model obsessed with director Bill Zebub made a documentary about him to show the world just who and what Bill is about. Is he really the "most dangerous movie-maker in America?" I don't know, but he certainly is one who does just what he wants to do. And that is what makes an artist truly great. He pushes our buttons, extends the boundaries and is incredibly provocative. Oh and is absolutely politically IN-correct.I mean, this guy says BLANK to censorship and BLANK you Hollywood". He is completely non-traditional, weird, strange, and totally unconventional with movies many would say is full of female exploitation; but is he "exploiting" women? I say a resounding "NO". He gets what he wants from the lovelies in his movies by making them feel comfortable first and then by joking & laughing; with Bill himself the brunt of most of his jokes.I get the feeling that he actually enjoys being an independent artist as it allows him the true freedom of doing exactly what he wants; without worrying about critics or anyone for that matter. Oh sure, I bet he would like to have the money for expensive sets and awesome effects, but wouldn't that take away from the creativity of this artist? And as to fans; yes, he has many.Bill says "an indie movie-maker should revel in his freedom, not curse it." And that he does. He absolutely revels in what he does and how he does it. He delves into subject matter that is taboo, because he can. Bill addresses what mainstream will not do. He says "everything is funny"; which means nothing is sacred. This is one of the awesome things in my opinion about being an independent film maker. He doesn't have to answer to Hollywood or to its minions. And I can't imagine him ever selling his soul to do that.I think there are two groups of Bill's; either haters or fans...or should I say "addicts" to Bill's movies. Either you love `em or you hate `em. Does he care? Probably not; after all, good or bad is better than indifferent. I know there are plenty of fans that would follow Bill off a cliff if he led them there. And after all, isn't that what this artistic master would love?I feel that we have become so complacent as a society; so afraid to tackle anything that might even be slightly misconstrued as offensive or politically incorrect, that we have subdued our true feelings because of all the pressures of having to kowtow to societal pressures. Bill relieves all of this when he makes a film. In that respect, he is a delightful breath of fresh air; his movies really are completely unpretentious and yeah, a lot in your face.If you are easily offended, then don't watch his films. I think of these as different forms of art; horror, comedy, dark art. Yeah.

if you dig deeper you find them to much more intelligent than First you thought
I found this to be a surprisingly informative Doc about An Indie Director i'd never heard of.I have to say though that as much as His films are offensive to some,if you dig deeper you find them to much more intelligent than First you thought. Also on the DVD as an extra is His Stereotype Movie which again is much weightier in the issues it covers than most Indies.
