A friend and I had been talking about this bookjust two weeks before Neiman died. I ordered itand gave it to him as a gift. What luck! just tryto find it now!

Great reference book with great vibrant pictures of his art and the edition numbers they ran for... I just started to collect signed Leroy's Great great book.!!!

The picture of the book that is shown in listing is not the book you will receive. The book that is pictured is a picture of the original version, this is a copy of it. The first two pages are blue and the picture on this book cover itself (not the protector cover which also has a none original picture) is of a elephant, not what is on the orginal nor the color of the first two pages. There were only 1000 signed orginal copies in 1980. If buying this copy, do so as a reference book of his works only, not as a so called NEW "Collector Copy" because it is not. In a matter of fact I purchased a two copies at around $10.00 each plus $3.99 s&h from two good sellers and a copy from a bad seller first for $42.99 of which I returned to Amazon as a bait and switch One for my grandson an another so I could browse through it, bend the pages if wanted without touching my own original signed copy that was purchased in 1980 from the publisher as a real Gallery Copy. Only buy this because of the pictures the history NOT as a collector thing mand pay as little as posiable.

Having purchased two Leroy Neiman works in October this was a great Christmas gift for the other half. Can also be a draught excluder or coffee table conversation starter. I prefer just to look at the brilliant pictures !
