This was smaller than I imagined. Suits ALL my wants and needs.

Very easy to use

The portable voice recorder can be used to make voice memos or record what is said in a meeting. The recorder is small in size, easy to operate, and has many good functions. These instructions are actually understandable. A compact digital recorder with a sophisticated structure. It can record meetings and lectures. It is sturdy and has all the necessary controls. It is not difficult to operate if you read the instructions. Recording and playback are easy, and my main surprise is the sound quality.

Unfortunately, I’m one day past the return date. This cuts out quite a bit of audio right in the middle of sentences. I used to have another that worked great, but lost it, so re-ordered and am not happy with this one.

Easy to use after getting familiar to the menu but recorded voice quality was so poor.

Initially I thought this was a great product and have been using it for 6 months... or thought I had.That was until I realised NEARLY HALF OF ALL MY RECORDINGS HAVE FAILED because I have been switching off using wrong button. There are two ways of initiating the device, identical on both sides. If you accidently flip the wrong side your file will not play and only error message 'FORMAT ERROR' comes up. This is functional design, not a faulty device. They have completely failed to understand the purpose of a dictaphone - to take quicky easy notes in the field, without any hassle and instant results. To not program device to save before switching off has created a very dangerous situation that even if you 'know' this, you might easily still do it by accident. I didn't know as there was no warning I recall. Personally I would have inserted a card with beg red writing on it but of course that would only happen if they were even aware of the problem in the first place, and so would have programmed OFF to go SAVE CURRENT FILE > OFF instead of, I guess, literally pulling the plug and screwing up the files. I have lost nearly all the notes I have been making for 6 months, stupidly thinking after an initial test when I first got it that it was totally reliable. Also, be warned: USB MINI PORT CANNOT RETRIEVE FILES very misleading in photographs but, ye, again, overpriced to lack such a critical feature. Honestly guys, you need to redesign this product with my two suggestions: Save before switching off EVERY TIME (unless, you can imagine a situation where users WANT to faulty file) and give USB connectivity to storage if you are going to the length of integrating USB port. There are plenty of other dictaphones on the market with exactly these features.

The media could not be loaded.  As a YouTube video maker this voice recorder is being used plenty already. I make same videos and sometimes I am recording two things at once so a voice recorder is essential. Firstly it is very easy to use ... one side switched on and one recorded. The little screen and rocker switch does everything else, the message on the screen are self explanatory with regard to usage. I recorded my voice over for at least two videos so far and it is working as it should. There is an equaliser setting and even a setting to save the recording. The thing that struck me is that it is rechargeable ... Many voice recorders need batteries and even some of the more expensive ones - there is a saving to be had.

It’ll be really helpful with complex meetings as my husband is unwell and there’s a lot of information to remember. It can be hard to listen, respond and take notes.It’s very tiny, see pic of the Dictaphone between a mouse and a pair of glasses. It’s appx the length of my mouse and half the width, which isn't a bad thing, as log as I don't lose it!The audio seems clear so far but I haven’t tested it with auto start or in a noisy environment yet so we’ll see. The 'auto' option works well so far, I haven't tried it with a proper conversation yet so I hope it doesn't miss any before starting. I'll update if needed. So far, it’s doing everything I need so hopefully, it’s robust.Update 16/2/21 (10 days later)I had recorded a few meetings with my husband's Oncologist, so we could remember all the technical information. I had used it with no issue for the first day or 2, so I was surprised when the 'format error' message appeared after a meeting. I completed the 'format' on the machine and it seemed to work again, only to go back the next day and nothing would play (see video).I'm so disappointed as this was the only one I could find which was rechargeable and not extortionately priced, so there may be a reason for the low price, or maybe I'm just unlucky :/ Really disappointing!

I was in need of a voice recorder for when I was at some of the meetings that I attend and bought the 32GB Digital Voice Recorder. It was cheap and I was very surprised at the sensitivity and quality of the audio. I now also use it at some of the film location when out on a shoot to record some of the local sounds to add to the film clips later. It records in WAV format and a staggering 30 hours of continuous recording.It can take up to 3 hours depending how much power left in the battery to charge. Charges or transfer files with the supplied Micro-USB cable. The one key start and stop recording is a bonus.A very good recorder for such a low price. Very happy with the purchase.

I really am sorry that it had the fault, I really liked it.It was my first item of this kind. The sound quality was really very good. I was using it for recording nuisance noise and didn't use it for memo taking, etc. It is surprisingly sensitive and picked bird song really well and clearly. As someone has mentioned it is easy to easy to turn off the power by mistake before ending and saving the recording - there is no prompt and no lock on the power switch. The build is solid and the controls are fine once you get used to what does what. I did find it lost a long recording because the battery had died but maybe it was me not seeing a message.There are 2 things that seem to crop up with much of the lower end Chinese items. Firstly, usually they work great but it is a bit of a lottery whether you get a dud. Not sure if this is lack of testing or components that are of a lower spec. or quality. Secondly, the instructions, which in this case are small because the items is small, and therefore the packaging is small - so the writing is tiny. If only they made the instructions available online or on Amazon as a download.BUT you pay for what you get. So as really I like the concept of a voice recorder, still require one and as my vision is in decline it will be worth getting a more higher end item from Amazon.Do not be put off by the above this is a great quality for the money. Oh, I will be looking for one that comes with a holster so I can hang it around my neck - they are slippery little devils!!!
