Nicely Made .. rather smallish EDC Knife
Made to a high standard, this knife is a gem right out of the box. Fit and finish is great. In the natural G-10 color it looks very much a "Gentlemans Knife". Blade is nicely finished and VERY sharp. The action on mine was subdued and not very quick. Even slightly slightly sticky. Probably from too much lube. No doubt it will free up over time.Let me state here I am not a collector or YouTube influencer. I use my knives many times every day for many different purposes. They aren't abused, but they are definitely used. Now about the size. This is a smallish, somwhat narrow handled knife. Blade is 2.65 inches. In photos it appears as much bigger knife. Even in my medium size hand it is smaller and less comfortable than my small Honey Badger drop point. For me, the pocket clip has to go. It makes the smallish handle even less comfortable when gripping firmly. I don't use, or like, pocket clips in general so no great loss for me. ( I removed the clip from the Honey Badger too.)A plus for the Odium is that it hides in the pocket very well. Unnoticeable in the pants pocket (with the clip off). The grip is quite different on both knives. The Honey Badger is slightly larger and more comfortable (for me) just using the handle. To be comfortable with the Odium I have to "choke up" to the finger choil .. which I'm not particularly fond of. The HB also has a bit more bulk to it. It fills the closed hand a little bit better. I'm not crazy about the strong honeycomb texture on the HB however.I can see quickly that the HB will remain my everyday carry, utility blade. This Odium knife will be more for carrying in polite company where the all black HB with the quick, snappy action could intimidate. For a so-called "budget" knife, the Odium is very nice, and high quality, no argument there. But be prepared to find out it might be a bit smaller than you expected. It all depends on how you plan to use it whether "size matters".I suggest anyone looking for a small, high quality EDC utility knife to try the slightly larger, more comfortable small Honey Badger drop point first. If you prefer the classier look, smaller size, available color choices ... and lower cost of the CIVIVI Odium ... then go for it. Both knives are definitely worth owning.

Terrific knife.
No complaints, this knife is perfect as an edc. It's small, sharp, and keeps an edge. As well as multiple deployment options for any situation you're in.I had the jade scales and I think it is one of the nicer looking colors I've seen on a knife.Sadly I had lost my knife soon after I purchased it but it served me very well in the time I had it.

Nice Small Knife
I got this knife to carry while wearing lighter-weight clothing (hot, humid FL summer). Not surprisingly, the D2 is already developing a patina, which I don't mind. Obviously, one can read the description and understand this knife is small. Provides me a nice 3-finger grip without the forward choil, and a pretty comfy 4-finger grip using the choil. Nice even grind, good and sharp upon arrival. The stonewash is nice enough. The fit and finish on this are nice, but not as rave-worthy as some seem to think about these budget knives. The design is thoughtful in several ways: the grip is comfortable, it carries very lightly, and takes up little space. I also like how the screws holding the 2 halves of the knife together, and the back-spacer in place, are minimal or hidden. It gives a clean look, which is really nice on this small knife. The action is pretty good with the light-switch flipper action, with a stiff detent. With this small of a blade, one could imagine that getting a good flip could require some additional fine-tuning..I may try to fiddle with it and lubricate for better performance..but it’s pretty decent the way it is.This is a great $50 knife, but certainly does not rival my higher-end selections. It meets my expectations.

Great for small hands
This knife, like every Civivi knife I’ve had, has amazing fit and finish. Beautiful stone wash on the blade as well. It’s a lot smaller than I expected, but that’s not a bad thing for me. I put it next to a tube of chapstick for comparison. Personally, I love it. Perfect secondary or light edc.

A favorite for EDC
This knife is beautiful and well made. Small enough for every day carry but functional. The thumb slot makes opening and locking the knife a snap. I would carry the Damascas blade / Cuibourtia wood handle version more often but it is simply too gorgeous to use.

Sturdy, sharp, handy EDC.
I use this knife daily. It's my every day carry. Perfect for me. Clipped inside my back pocket it's a flash away. Right- there/ right-quick for opening a letter or opening some jerk trying to accost my wife!

Flip action did not flip open easily
Returned mine. Was well made and good quality but flip action did not work well. I have an off-grid baby Rhino that’s superior in all other aspects. Wanted to like it but the flip action is kind of a very important aspect

Budget knife that is great for EDC.
The media could not be loaded. Civivi has some awesome stuff. The Odium is small but snappy. Great action.
