This bible has an excellent layout and format full of excellent sidebar discussions on the scriptures and is a translation that is easy to follow and understand for novice bible readers like myself. A great version and resource for the price. I highly recommend it.

Another Bible??? Who needs that? Anyone who wants to get new revelations of the word as seen through another's heart and spirit. The word never grows old but it does not hurt to have new reflections on the words that have saved and inspired so many for all these years .We as God's beloved will always be in the process of learning. His word can always give us new insight and truth, So much is still unrevealed to so many.I liked it because it was done with Jack Hayford involved in it's birth and I do admire him and his ministry. But all in all any new addition of insight into the glorious word of God cannot hurt, but help, if it is scripturally sound. I would not settle for anything less than the clear word of God. An edition well done. Try it.

I personally was gifted this bible by our church when I first came to Christ. It has been tremendous in helping me learn and understand the scriptures. I since have bought it for my sister in journey as well.

The Bible has a Spirit-filled viewpoint, so if your a cessationist, you won't like this Bible...It wholeheartedly addresses the gifts of the Spirit. There is a wonderful Word Wealth commentary on important words, looking at their meaning in the original language, and how they apply today. Great apologetics, explanations of passages and cross-reference. Wish that the pages were a little thicker, need to use Bible markers to highlight as regular highlighters will bleed through. The intelligence that you have come to expect from Jack Hayford is clearly evident when you read this Bible.

I really wish that this was available in the “leather look” soft cover. The pages are thin, but this Bible is heavy. The first one that I received was damaged (looked like the cover had been cut with an exacto knife). The replacement has a couple of small “dings” on the hard cover that aren’t super noticeable, so I kept it. The notes are really helpful, and the font is easy to read.

I needed an English Bible urgently for a friend and this one was delivered literally "the next day". Its a quality hardcover, easy to read, English translation and its filled with notes applicable for every day life.

This is an updated version of a classic Bible under the direction of Jack Hayford. It is, as the name suggests, geared more for charismatic or pentecostal Christians, but is also superb for adherents to the new apostolic movement. The notes are very thorough, clear and helpful, and the presentation and layout of the Bible is very attractive and easy to read. The NIV is a gem of a translation, though the original Bible when published used the NKJV. This Bible is highly recommended to anyone seeking to deepen their spiritual life as a Christian.
