Update to my recent review
The product I had received was defective and the seller refunded my money without hesitation. It was unfortunate that the particular product that I received was defective, but the seller was understanding and that's the reason I'm changing my initial rating from two stars to five stars. I will buy again from the seller.

Worked great for me.
Great stand, very adjustable. I thought it was easy to assemble, but some people may have issues. A lot of parts, so you can set it up a number of ways.

I was pleasantly surprised.
For an inexpensive item, it works really well. I used it for my 32in Insignia television, and I installed it on my desk. The depth of the back of my desk is very shallow at 1.25in, but I still installed and it works fine. The base moves a little when I move the TV, but that's my fault as the base is not properly secured.I had to tighten the VESA plate's hinge to prevent the TV from tilting. It still tilts a little by itself if I accidentally hit the desk.I was not expecting it to work well, but I was pleasantly surprised. It still feels cheap, but it's an inexpensive item.

So far so good for the price
I'm successfully using this with a 27" Pixio PX275h monitor at 14.3 lbs. Quality is slightly lacking. I almost stripped a cap on a hex head bolt installing a mounting plate. The bolts that secure the vesa mount seemed slightly small, but the threads were still workable. The monitor will wobble if I do press the power and buttons on the underside.Even with those caveats it's a good stand for the price. My monitor hasn't shown any drooping yet and there is a tension adjustment for that. I like the cable management system. Upon receipt the lower arm may seem like it's rotated the wrong way in relation to the base. But after the monitor is mounted and secured, it can be rotated easily to your liking. I removed the zip tie after the monitor was mounted so I wouldn't get punched in the face.I'm ok with this purchase, but honestly next time I would probably spend more on a premium arm. However I would suggest this for a price-sensitive user.

are these rejected/refurbished items from some known brand?
The design and material seems to be solid but units I received were defective. I ordered 2 units and both of them had major functional issues. One has rusted metal beams (was painted over with black paint) and one has leaked hydraulic fluidic that cannot hold any weight. The replacement units also had small cosmetic, rivet, clamp, or alignment defects when inspected by taking off the plastic covers. For the price and relying on Amazon's return policy its still a good deal though.

Great single arm monitor stand!
Works great! Is hefty! Can't figure out how to adjust the height but it's at the perfect height for me personally so it doesn't even matter to me tbh.

Junk, does not hold monitor upright
The mount seems somewhat sturdy, but the pivot point at the monitor mounting plate does not hold the monitor in position, even only using a lightweight 27" monitor with this. I tightened it 1/4 turn at a time, and no matter how tight it was, it was never enough to hold the monitor in position without just falling and tilting downwards. I tried tightening it until it finally just stripped out, and returned it. Waste of time unfortunately.

Easy setup and works perfectly
Great way to mount a monitor, very sturdy but easily adjustable so easy to move monitor out of the way and adjust it for different users. Highly recommended.

Everything you need to know its really good
I got mine and it is hard to move ONLY AT FIRST because it tells you in the instructions at the end to untighted the tension screws so that you can put it together easy it fits my 24 inch perfectly and it can screw or clamp on your desk easy. The overall is great to not break budget

Second monitor
This item was bought for my son's second monitor. Easy to install and to attach to the monitor.Does it's job and easy to move around. We had to adapt the clamp as we have a glass table. But other than that it's great

Work great and looks really good
A little limit for 32" monitor and I was forced to torque the spring to maximum for the weight of my screen. But it did the job nicely. As my work table is about 100 years old and very lightweight it makes the screen wobble a little bit when I hit the desk with my chair. A heavier desk should not cause that effect even with a heavy screen like mine. Remember. Heavy screen and light desk, not the best of combinations. Because the way my desk is made along with the base of the support I was forced to be inventive. There was no way I was to drill a hole through the old and revered desk. Instead, I reversed the screw bracket (and the screw itself, it’s easy) and because of the beveled corner, I used the left over "Drill your own desk" steel plates to add holding space over the bevel and, Voila. Work just great.

Solid for the price!
I got it for 25$ after sale/coupon, was not expecting this much, but was surprised, it is full metal, there is cable management in plastic covers, easy to adjust height/arm spring and all. My monitor is 12lbs and works well.I have a "closed" desk so cannot use the clamp, I first drilled one hole to use the single screw, but moving the monitor, the base slipped sometimes, so I bought 3x M6x45 screws at homedepot (my desk is 1" thick so I calculated I needed 45mm screws, it is the perfect size for my desk), drilled 3 holes and used the metal plate under the desk, see pictures, it is dead solid now!
