Extremely High Quality and Easy Install
Grabbed this radiator and a Hayden 679 Trans Cooler to update my 2011 Pro4X when it was overheating at idle and while towing in traffic. I thought I had a blockage in the radiator flow because the truck would heat up sitting still but cool off as soon as I revved it or got it moving to increase airflow. I tested the fan clutch (my first instinct) and it tested perfect so I knew it wasn't the issue. Flow was good across the top of the radiator so I knew it wasn't a water pump issue. That left only the radiator. Well, I ordered parts, made time to do the work, and went at it. What I found was the blockage wasn't internal to the radiator, but rather a buildup of chaff on the front of my radiator (but not on the front of the AC condenser, oddly) from driving around the fields on some hunting property (as seen in the attached pic). Since I had the Koyo onhand, and was at 120k on the OEM radiator, I figured I'd go ahead and swap it out. Construction is excellent, with smooth welds, consistent fin placement, solid materials, and high quality (again, see the attached pic). Fitment was perfect. I did not have to trim the shroud or do any other alterations for fitment. It dropped right in. Got everything buttoned back up and have put roughly 46k on the truck since then with everything running smooth, cool, and perfect. I can't recommend the Koyo all-aluminum radiator or the Hayden 679 trans cooler any more highly. Both are five star all day!

Excellent Quality
2008 Titan with a leak in a familiar spot on the factory heat exchanger inlet of the stock radiator. Can't complain 16yrs is a good run for any radiator. The Koyo unit is impressive, high quality and a perfect fit with absolutely no modifications. I re-used the factory radiator cap and it works fine, a much tighter fit than the stock one.I added a Hayden 679 external cooler in the bottom left side of the front grill and it fit perfect. I replaced most of the cooling hoses and a power steering hose while the front end was open. I can't say enough about the quality of this radiator, very impressed!! Test drive after and temps are perfect right where they should be on the gauge and the cooler temps are about 20-30 cooler. Should last the rest of the life of this truck which is at 136k

Well made but requires fan shroud trimming
This is a very nice part. All aluminum with quality welds and a pretty good fit. The only downside is that the fan shroud must be trimmed (at least on my 2008 Titan) or else the fan will rub on it. This radiator is a little over a half inch thicker than stock, which pushes the untrimmed shroud into the fan blades.

06 Armada install
I got this because of reviews of this radiator being used in 05 and up Titans. Since the Nissan Titan shares very similar engine configurations as the armada, I beleive that this will be a good choice. well, good decision. I installed it on my 06 armada and it was a simple install. I also replace both the upper and lower hoses.Be AWARE!! Warning.this type of radiator can only be installed IF YOU BYPASS or Have a secondary Tranny Coolerthis unit does NOT have an internal cooler for the transmission. you will have to bypass the tranny oil tubes and install a secondary transmission oil coolerother that that !, I noticed that my tempt gauge has a lower reading than my original radiator!. not much but noticeable on the gauge, i can keep the engine idling under the sun for over 60 mins without the tempt gauge going past midway in the south california weather. i don't tow, but i do run the engine pretty hard on interstate's drives, and I think this will keep my engine purring for a whileupdate:04/2019- just been stuck in LA freeways for hours and the AC at full blast.YUP, the Tempt gage just was peg between 1/4 to1/2... never done that in the old RAD

Looks solidly built
Bought this as a replacement for my 2005 Nissan Titan.Appears very well built. All aluminum. No plastic! You will need an external transmission radiator because this is only for the engine coolant.Recommend product

A Permanent Solution to a Potential Disaster for all 1st Generation Nissan Armada/Titan Vehicles
Had my mechanic install this Koyorad radiator in my 2012 Nissan Titan SL 4x4 along with a Long Tru Cool SR 4588 Transmission Cooler, Koyorad SK-C13 Radiator Cap and a new Continental 4070975 Serpentine Belt to replace my original belt from 2012. Other items I purchased for this job include: Gates 27056 Transmission Oil Cooler Hose and 5/16" Fuel Injection Hose Clamps, QTY of 10, so you can double up clamps whereever possible on your transmission lines. My mechanic commented that the quality of this radiator is quite a step above Nissan's OEM Radiator for this truck or any Nissan OEM Style Radiator from a parts store. He said this full aluminum build (in combination with a seperate transmission cooler) will last for the life of the truck and is a one time fix for Nissan's dreaded Strawberry Milkshake of Death (SMOD) which occurs when one of the plastic tanks on OEM style radiators cracks... Your coolant and transmission fluid mix and your transmission ends up paying the ultimate price. If you own a 2004-2015 Nissan Titan or Armada and you have more than 5 years driving on your OEM or replacement OEM Style Radiator, you should seriously look into a permanent solution such as this radiator/seperate transmission cooler combo. You will spend about $150-200 more upfront in parts, but you will have piece of mind that your coolant and transmission fluid have 0 chance of mixing ever again with this setup.Update 7/11/2019: Just took a 350 mile road trip across Pennsylvania and noticed that my transmission temp ran between 140-145 degrees the entire trip, according to my Bullydog GT Tuner. I was not towing. Previously, my transmission temperature was 169-171 degrees on this same trip, without towing, when driving with outside temperatures in the 80's. This radiator and LongTru Cool SR4588 Transmission Cooler mod were completely worth the money. I highly recommend!
