Lightweight, small footprint for backpack, quick to setup and take down
I was looking for a lightweight tent to take backpacking that didn't cost an arm and a leg. I'm new to backpacking and this checked off all the boxes. The poles that came with the tent are actually much better quality than expected.I had seen a bunch of reviews for some of the River Country tents that complained about leaks in rain, so to be safe paired this with a lightweight rain fly tarp.I went ahead and sprayed the whole inside and outside of the tent with a water repellent spray during initial setup as well.We had a test run last night, and it performed flawlessly. I'm 6', 210 pounds and was able to fit just fine. We had a light drizzle all night long and could hear the drops from the overhead trees hitting the rain fly. I woke up this morning with zero water inside the tent. No droplets anywhere. I did have the side vents open, which helped keep the moisture from breathing from building up.Great little tent, looking forward to taking it on many adventures.

Does not keep water out if you're camping and plan to get wet!
I initially would have loved to leave this a 5 star review, and actually did on the website BUT after taking the tent on a two-day camping trip in Buena Vista, CO where things got a bit wet- I soon learned why the tent is so cheap and reasonably priced. Night one with a light drizzle I noticed that there was some water coming in to the tent at the seams, despite having sprayed every square inch with a water resistant spray they recommended. Thankfully the tent dried out during the day, and it was not an issue. Night two however, where the rain was a bit more consistent, meant that the walls and seams of the tent let in plenty of water, so everything inside the tent got damp. Sleeping bag, sleeping mat, my bag, pillow, etc, everything was wet and this was only from a light drizzle that just didn't let up during the day. Extremely disappointed as the tent is easy to put together, and small/light. However I think because of this, it means it will not stand up to any kind of rain, even with spray. Save yourself the time, please invest in something a bit more expensive and reliable if you're planning to camp and any sort of water is forecasted.

Good tent for Boy Scouts backpacking trip
Been to one camp and one backpacking trip with it.Lightweight, easy to setup, and compact.Easy to setup with only one person, a 12 year old can set it up in 5 minutes. The tent has lots of room to fit one person and gear.Suggest to have a small tarp for the area outside the mesh for gear storage.Haven't tested in rain yet.

Great 1st Tent
This is my first tent, so my expectations are based on the countless reviews I've read and or have seen. So far, the quality, construction, and ease of use are excellent. Unfortunately, it hasn't rained here in about 3 weeks so I am unable to attest to the water resistance. For the price, in my noob opinion, it is a great purchase. I already have another in my cart as a bday gift to a friend who camps quite often.

Meh
Decent sized holes in the floor corners definitely need sealed and didn't come with the noted repair kit.

Great value!
Slick little tent. Easy setup, large vestibule, plenty of interior sleeping space, and as the title says...GREAT VALUE! At $45 you really can't go wrong. I didn't inspect every seam but I've used a lot of tents and this tent seemed to be fairly well made. If I were to change something I'd go to a lower tooth count on the zipper but as long as your conscientious while unzipping/zipping should last a long while. I only plan to use this a few weeks a year for hunting and I'm pretty sure it'll last me for many years w/ that amount of use.

Easy to pack and carry
Ordered with poles, works great. Just a note, the poles slip until you tighten up the clamps. Took me a few tries to figure that one out. Tent was quick and easy to set up. Took up very little space since the "poles" were the trekking poles. The tent had more headroom than most one man tents. It was definitely a one man tent tho. Easy to open and get in and out. Plenty of room, especially under fly in front for backpack and shoes, keeping inside of tent clean. Great design. Keep on Trekking :)
