14 month Update: 3 Weeks in and so far so good
I'm a former General Contractor so I'm super critical (& yes I know I still need to add two pieces of cabinet trim in my pic) . But here's the lowdown. About 3 weeks ago (3/24/21) I installed a new 20k BTU gas drop-in and needed to nix the downdraft I had. I was not going to buy this hood and planned to move on to a ZLine and pay the extra $ assuming this would be crap. Fortunately (so far) Z-Line was OOS everywhere and I had no choice but to move on and get something installed. So I bought this and thought that if it isn't as advertise I'll return it.So far this hood has been as advertised in all respects. Other than having a goofy name stamped into it (is that some Chinese scrabble version of Kitch??), and a goofy remote that went straight into the drawer, it is as good as some of the "Pro" Hoods I've installed for clients in the past. The stainless gauge is very good and not cheap AT ALL. In my pic there's a bit of streaking but that's the fault of the cleaner I was using not the hood. I was afraid I would find the hand waving business annoying (and yes it can change occasionally if you have a neanderthal forehead and like to rock out while you sauté) but all in all it's actually really nice that you don't have to "hunt & peck" for the speed button. The lights are perfectly ample and (at least with a short run to outside like mine) the fan is plenty good & strong and the noise level is perfectly acceptable even on high. The baffles are nice and to my surprise they don't rattle at all as the fan motor is pretty smooth. All that said I do have concerns about touch/sensor panel longevity. So far unfounded. But future parts availability does concern me in that respect. But all in all a great hood, good quality, looks nice, good functionality, easy install, priced right. If you like the look I don't think you can go wrong here. I'm very happy with my extra $1,000! Thanks ZLine!Over a year now and zero complains. This is mounted over a very high BRU drop in. And it will suck your wig off. All controls still work fine.

Looks as good installed as the pics
IKTCH Range Hood. Arrived with box a little beat up but unit had no damage. Instructions pretty decent, was a little confused about a long angled metal piece looking at instructions was not real clear what it was for, finally realized it layed along the bottom on the back edge to hold in the baffles and was the grease tray. I agree with others the protective wrap was not the easiest to remove, fingers got a little sore, it did leave a residue in places (I ended up using goo gone and it worked very well with no harm to the stainless). I did have to cut one of the flue extensions to make them fit. Practiced on a scrap piece first, used a grinder with a cut off wheel for stainless and as long as I kept plenty of water running on it did not get bluing from the heat. Lights are a little tricky to get to dim but just takes some getting used to. Love the motion gesture to turn it off or on and it has worked very well. Just make sure you cross both sensors and can move your hand fairly quickly. Only time we have had it come on when we really didn't want it to was when we clean it/wipe it down. Have it set up ductless. Installed and using it for about 3 months now. No issues and lots of compliments on how it looks and the gesture control everyone really thinks is a neat feature. At this point would purchase again if needed.

Quality Company
Range hood came in on time, was ok priced and has lots of features. The problem started at install when we noticed one of the chimney pieces had a slight dent in it. We thought no big deal we can replace that piece easily post install. The install was relatively simple and problem free. The hood is pleasing to look at and has a nice light. The fan motor is louder than we prefer but not over the top. The front control is very sensitive and can be annoying if you walk buy and turn it on.I originally had a problem with my order. The company stepped in a solved the problem in a very professional way. My hood is installed and working fine and looking good.

Classy looks, nifty features, and efficient airpower!
The media could not be loaded. Edited on 6/13/21 to add: After 3 months of regular kitchen use, I continue to have my expectations exceeded with this range hood. Whether it's a few eggs on the stove, or a multi-course family meal, I LOVE the touchless activation of both the light and fan to get started cooking and keep the air flowing and removing cooking odors. This hand wave action is the bomb.com!My original review continues below.===First, if you haven't read Corey W.'s review, please scroll to it - his is super thorough and covers all of the technical aspects of this range hood. (I have the same model #IKP02RI.) I endorse his pickiness, and his enthusiasm for the IKTCH price, features, and looks. I, too, researched a bunch of other range hoods and didn't find anything close to what you get for the money with the IKTCH.Looks: Sleek and modern, this hood looks like one piece of metal, and so much better-looking than most. My photos show slight streaking after wiping the contractors' fingerprints off with a stainless-steel cleaner. I have never had a range hood before, so I am learning how to do a perfect job of that. =)Function: Am I living on a futuristic space colony? Because gestures and fade on/off lights are what I would expect to see in a sci-fi movie. LOVE the gestures that turn on and adjust the fan speeds and light.Suction: Absolutely wonderful! Odor-clearing 900 CFM and not deafening. You can easily converse while the fan is on. I happened to have music on when I took my video so you can hear it for yourself. The timer and remote are a bonus!Support: My IKTCH rep contacted me after I purchased and answered all of my questions in a friendly manner and never failed to follow up with me promptly in all communications.Installation: My contractors said it went really well.
