Best way to make sanitiser...

Used the 250ml one for cleaning electronics, and it was good. But the thing is, the content is not the same, one is lesser, guess it evaporated. Side note a little bit pricey

I bought two 1 litre bottles, both were filled only 80% of its full capacity. The product label says Pre Cleaner and Isopropyl Alcohol Product, whereas other brands have clearly mentioned it's 99.9% IPA on their products.And another thing other brands have a shelf life of 48 months (4 years), whereas this only has 2 years.

The bottle contains ~1 l liquid. The seal was broken and a tape was wrapped around the broken seal. Under screw cap there is another pressed fit cap which can be removed or punctured. The bottle contains some organic volatile liquid and it can be used as degreaser or for removing stains, adhesive etc. But I don't know whether it is a true isopropyl alcohol or not . I don't have any apparatus to check BP or unsaturation, so I can't say. I did a flame test. High percentage low MW alcohol should burn with a blue flame. It burns with yellow flame (but burns cleanly without water traces) . I have good quality 75% isopropyl alcohol it burns with blue flame, for comparison see the last picture.Update 1: I checked that it is highly miscible with water. With 20% V/V water it burns with blue flame and smells more like alcohol.
