Does not sew.
What's the point of a thread if it doesn't sew? I've tried multiple times to use this and every time the thread breaks into peaces as I am sewing it in. I am not satisfied with this product

Not traditional thread
This is not a traditional thread and I don't think many (if any) embroidery machines will be able to work with it. We have an Elna Air Artist and used a 90/14 topstitch needle. I couldn't get it to even sew a stitch. It just made a bunch of bad noises and stopped. I thought maybe the needle was the problem (since I hadn't used a 90/14 on the machine yet), but it worked just fine with other thread.The thread is a very narrow, flat filament with some reflective coating on it. It feels a little sandpapery. Tried ironing it (for science) with a press cloth and it seems to iron just fine (no sticking/melting/color transfer).The thread does have some really cool color effects and I think it could work for hand embroidery (but may not be the most fun to sew with), but I'd be really cautious about buying this if you plan on machine embroidery.

Wanted to love it but you cannot sew with it on a machine
I read the reviews, figured we had several sewing machines and one of them would work. Nope.I have an Industrial Juki - thread broke 5 stitches in. I tried 16 up to #21 needles with the same results.Both of our brother embroidery machines didn't even make it that far.Sewing with the little brother (SE400) it made it about 10 stitches before it broke BUT that was going incredibly slow and it was making not great noises during that time. So I'm not sure why the listing says you can sew on it. I tested it on 4 different machines, from domestic, industrial and embroidery and you absolutely CANNOT sew with this "thread". If you were hand embroidering, maybe it might hold up but be prepared for it to then and break. :/

nicht zum Maschinen-Nähen, Sticken oder Handnähen geeignet
Material ist ein reiner dünner Plastestreifen, ca. 1 mm dick und flach, kein eigentlicher Faden. Auf leichten Zug verzieht sich der Streifen wellig und reißt recht schnell ab. Reflektiert leicht, aber für den eigentlichen Zweck Nähen / Sticken nicht brauchbar.Wird wohl Bastelmaterial für den Kindergarten.Schade um das Geld, Rückgabe / Rücksendung lohnen sich nach China nicht.

Fragile, disappointment
Beautifully shimmery and rainbowy, but weirdly elastic. Stretches and then snaps quickly, can’t be used for sewIng- either on a machine or by hand. Don’t buy.
