Classic Tracy Mat Work
This is a great 1 hour mat workout OR 3 separate 20 min sections - the first part is abs, the 2nd is "hips & thighs", the 3rd is "glutes" - but the last 2 sections are basically whole body workouts classic Tracy power moves. I love it because it is different than all her other mat workouts, including the meta program. The ab section got me sweating, but it was not too difficult and definitely had an ab focus. Very controlled moves, this entire workout she explains the moves and breaks it all down, so it is slower paced than the meta mat workouts but not necessarily easier! The last two sections are definitely full body, while you focus on one leg moving she combines the other side of the body in her very effective weight transfer/balance moves so that your abs, back, arms, the whole body is challenged to work together. New moves from her other workouts - I'm always amazed to see what she comes up with, was not disappointed.

Amazing! I have two young kids and haven't really worked out since having them. I wanted to tone up, but not have to travel to the gym everyday. This was my first Tracy Anderson DVD and I am hooked. The movements can be awkward at first, but are absolutely working. I have never seen results so fast. Just ordered 3 more of her workout DVDs.

Good DVD for those new to Tracy Anderson, not so hot it you are already hip
I love Tracy Anderson, and her workouts are effective. What I find in this workout video is she spends most of the time talking. I prefer to get things moving. I been doing Tracy workouts now for two years, and am very used to her movements. This video is great if you are new to Tracy, but if you have been doing her workouts for some time and are looking for new moves, this one may frustrate you with all the explanation. Tracy is always good.

Effective and different
I really like all of Tracy’s workouts. She always puts a different twists and variations and is never boring. Definitely not the same old workout. Works your muscles in a different way and I feel this is very beneficial to anyone seeking to tone parts that are resistant to change. Some of her DVDS can have a lot of the similar moves like precision toning and mat workout, but this one incorporates different moves and is worth it for the low price.

Great workout DVD
Tracy is controversial but she's unique and as a trainer with a pear shaped body, I totally agree with her concept of floor exercises to trim and lean out your hips and thighs. I don't agree with her 3 lb handweight rule, but I do her upper body workouts as a warmup for lifting heavier weights. Overall a great lower body workout program. (I have also done metamorphasis, which I love - this is different)

Not a fan
This is not one of my favorite dvd of Tracy's, and I have many. Tracy patents her exercise moves, so they become more complex than they need to be. Some I like and some I don't. I end up doing them my way, rather than following her. The big drawback of this dvd is there is no arm section. Yes, I know there's not supposed to be one, but there should be. Because of that, I tend to use her Mat or Precision Toning, both are much better than this one, to get a good arm workout. I also add Barre routines in my weekly workout, to give my muscles a change from Tracy's. All in all, it's okay, but doesn't flow as well as her other ones. I wish she would make more Mat workouts like her first one.

Her workout accomplishes what she says it will on your body!!! Keep at it and be consistent and you will get results

if your in great shape and have not issues with back this would be great, but for me its to hard.

Disappointed and untrustworthy
Abs workout was fine but the hips and thighs...the music is awful. She doesnt explain anything or why she is doing anything it made me not trust the movements which could actually be more simple and safer. I dont have knee issues but I would recommend a thick mat and go slowly at 1st. There seems to be a level of 'gimmick' in her moves. Shame but I remember now why i stopped doing her so callled 'method' to start with. Disappointing

Tracy finally get cardio right
I love this workout. Most of Tracy's dance workouts are hard to follow, with non-motivating music, but this time she got it right. The DVD contains 6 separate 10-minute dance routines that you actually learn, not just random movements. The routines start off easy then get progressively more complicated. You can do the routines separately or combine them into a longer workout.

Not much new. If you own lots of Dvd's ...
Not much new. If you own lots of Dvd's from Tracy there are no more surprises, in fact some of the moves are so silly that you have the impression that Tracy herself does not take them seriously.

Unique and different.
It's really different from your average workout. Moves you don't think will do anything but believe me I felt it the next day in places I never imagined!!
