Cool looking watch ........ with a quirk.
The display on the watch looks slightly washed out as though the battery is getting low. It isn't. All LCD displays have a polarized piece of film over the display to make the digits visible. Without the film, the display would look blank. That is how different color and a positive or negative display is achieved. It is simply a different tint of film over the display. The standard LCD display is slightly gray in appearance. I believe Casio used a different tint of film to make the background look "less grey" and lighter in appearance. You can see the difference compared to my other G shock with the same #3229 module. The downside is by using a different tint of polarizing film, it makes the digits appear less dark. Kind of wish Casio had left the display as standard. But The watch is still so cool, that I can live with the numbers being slightly lighter. So don't fret. Your battery isn't dying. : )-

Cute and functional!!!
I was looking for a cute but practical watch for nursing school and this one is perfect! The hourly beeps help me keep track of time, the military time option is essential for charting, it survives frequent hand washing, and because it’s blue it matches dress code!

Hard to read the time
My major issue with the watch is that the area around the face of the watch is so metallic that it picks up all the light and makes it hard to read the time. The watch looks great and if you are buying purely as a fashion accessory it is fine. However, I have to cover the watch with my off hand to read the time due to the reflective nature of the face boarder.

Awesome watch! Love the fit and function of it too! My only gripe is that it’s vastly lighter than the photo featured in the listing. Still a great color and still love the watch!

Classic G-Shock in a unique color way
Fantastic translucent blue band with a bright/neon green inlay behind the watch's face. I love the iconic G-Shocks and this one has a great 90s vibe with the vibrant colors.
