X-TEX Textured Coatings Remover 2.5L

This stuff is so easy to use and it really works & is non toxic which is important as im asthmatic, had to work out what to apply it with but through trial and error I worked out it applies really easily with a paint brush don't overload the brush though left it on for just over an HR , good luck 👍🏾

Applied the gel and covered with cling film to leave over night. The next day the artex was soft and easy to remove. Did have to put a second coat on some parts to fully remove all the artex but I think thats to be expected. Before buying this I used the durostrip artex remover which was not as good as this. The duro strip one turned the artex into a slime which was very messy. I would recommend buying some polythene liner to cover the floor because once the artex is removed it can smear onto anything it touches.

Does what it says, does need a couple of coats for textured paint though.

Sadly didn’t work for me ..did everything they said .. but it’s messy to work with .. gel dropped from celling .. leave it to the professionals !!!

It works.I read reviews and forums and decided to try it anyway. It works. Paint it on. Cover with bin bags and leave for 2 hours. Use a long handled scraper and it melts off. I have ordered two large tubs to finish the job.

It was not as good as expected on artex, very hard work to shift it

Dint even deserve one star it did nothing total waste of money.. emailed the company had no response. .. don't buy it ...

Great for removing artex from walls.
