Motekh MA-0701 Hand Held Shower Head - Transparent

After 2 days of usage, it has visibly reduced signs of my daughter's eczema. Her huge patches of dark purplish, itchy skin has improved. Her skin is softer and lighter. For years, we have tried the liquid, oral anti-histamines & steroid creams, gone to allergists to be stuck like a pin cushion, etc. None of the traditional things worked for over a week. I wish this company made filters for tank-less hot water heaters.Also, the water pressure is very strong, like a massage. It was a nice surprise considering how tiny, almost invisible, the holes are. My other daughter actually took it apart, because it appears as a cover when not in use.One problem: No instructions came with it, so we don't know how long the filter will last, the name of the replacement, or what will indicate the need to replace the filter.

Works great with a couple of minor flaws. Would like to give it 4.5 stars but Amazon does not have the option.Pros:1. The shower head reduces water use by using very tiny nozzles that are probably laser drilled in to the face making it quite usable with low water pressure.2. It does seem to soften the water since I did not notice any soap scum buildup since changing to this shower head.Minor flaws:1. The shower head and handle angle should have more curve in it so that when mounted, the water shoots 45 degrees or almost downwards which would make it useful when placed overhead. With the current angle, it almost shoots horizontally across the bathtub with good water pressure.2. The detent that controls the mid point selection is weak. It is hard to feel the stop for the middle setting.

I'd never really given much thought to the water coming from my shower head until I moved to a large city and started to notice how the hard water was affecting my skin. I purchased one for each of the bathrooms and couldn't wait to give it a try. I could tell the difference right away and was happy to not have that uncomfortable dry, tight feeling in my skin after a shower. It was slightly more water efficient than my old sprayers, but these were much more powerful. I have noticed, however, after using these for a few months, the 'softness' of the water does seem to have diminished. It's not as bad as my old sprayer heads, but certainly not where it was out of the box.

I've been using this shower head for 5 weeks. The pressure and spray are nice, but my skin and hair is just as dry as it normally is this time of year.UPDATE: I've used this shower head for about 6 months. There was never any change in my hair or skin, which would be ok (considering the price), but what knocked off another star was that there is a big stress fracture in the front plate. It's been used by one person for less than 7 months and never dropped. I cleaned it regularly. It would be worth to spend more money on something that will last longer.

I've had it about a month and truly hate it. It makes showering a painful experience. The water pressure is intense. Since the jet holes are so small, it feels like tiny darts are being thrown at your body. It creates a cyclonic backdraft with wind and attacking curtain. The jets don't all go on the same direction, the strays hit you in the eye or ear and hard. The water is not as hot, probably due to the 3 filtering compartment it goes through. I bought it hoping the filtered water wouldn't dry my skin. So far I see no difference. Can't wait until my replacement standard shower head arrives so I can return this monster.

NO MORE DANDRUFF!!! We live in the southwest part of Arizona, needless to say, the water here is hard and scale built up WAY too much on our old shower head. We bought this one and it fit just fine with the other suggested items (hose and shower head holder). I am SOO happy that it helped with my dandruff, no fancy shampoo required! I'd give this one an A! The only concern I have was how to replace the beads when they wear out, but with these results and the bargain price I couldn't be more happy with the purchase as a whole.

We were hesitant to order this because it seemed too cheap in price. We're happy we did, however. It looks great, has good water pressure, and our water quality does seem much better. Additionally, it was very easy to hook up.The only problem we had was that it is not curved at all. We have a small standing shower, and even with an adjustable arm mount, it was hard to get it angled low enough to shower properly when it was mounted. (I'm sure this is less of a problem for people with a larger shower and, obviously, not a problem at all for people who have a fixed shower head in addition to a handheld one.) We made it work, however, and are happy with everything else!

The stream is too pressurized and fine, it is almost like a steamer, and with the common combination hose and adapter the angle was wrong - as in photo it practically seems designed for horizontal spray
