Awesome sound, lightweight package
Everyone scoffed at me when I bought all Behringer equipment, but they are all eating crow now! These sound AMAZING when the system is properly calibrated. Faithful reproduction of mid- and high-frequency sounds (high-frequency sound can be overpowering with these... an EQ is a MUST!) and fairly deveny and punchy bass, though they aren't built for that (If you're doing music, you NEED a sub!)They work great as monitors too, as the shape lets them sit at just the right angle. They've survived 6 events with multiple EDM DJs at each, and I haven't managed to smoke them yet!My last event, between 4 of these, two B215xl speakers and two B1800D-PRO, I managed to hit over 127 dBc at 2 meters, and the sound was clear as a bell, with no crackling or clipping.

Behringer EUROLIVE B212XL (Review)
Review of the Behringer EUROLIVE B212XL 800-Watt 2-Way PA Speaker System. I ordered two of these speakers to go with one 18" Subwoofer and Amplifier to make the perfect "small venue" system. These speakers are super light in weight, which make them extremely mobile. They have the smaller size universal speaker whole on the bottom for easy speaker pole mounting. I set them up in the club where I work and used them all night with great hapiness. They sound loud and awesome! To make a very long story short..."For the money, you can't get a better quality speaker than this!". Behringer has really stepped up their game since they started creating and selling DJ, band, and Karaoke products. All those Pro sound guys back in those days can eat their poorly thought out words when they said.."There's no way something that cheap can be that good". I only gave this speaker 4 stars because I know there are other speakers that Behringer sell that are a bit better than this one, but other than that, this speaker rocks! Buy it with great confidence.

Mind Blown
I bought these to DJ at a local Anime/Gaming convention that my friend was starting up. Finally got a chance to test them out today, and I was blown away. I have them hooked up to a Behringer EPQ1200 and I couldn't turn it all the way up for fear of my windows breaking. My primary concern was that there would be a lack of bass, and there is and isn't at the same time. It pounds and punches, but doesn't have that low resonance that a woofer does. I am happy with the bass response from them, and it exceeded my expectations.I tested it with all different kinds of music to get a feel for it. Everything from the West Side Story soundtrack, to Katy Perry, to Progressive Dubstep, to Van Halen, and to video game soundtracks. Everything sounded crystal clear, powerful, and strong with no distortion what so ever.I will update this review after the convention when I get to really let loose with them.

The speaker looks good but poor performance
The speaker looks good but the sound quality is very poor, there is very little bass because of the small size of the cabinet, yes it is very light and portable but you can't get very much volume out of it before it breaks up and is overdriven. Even with the proper wattage going into it. I would not recommend this speaker unless you don't need loud volumes.

Disappointing... go big or go home
I bought these for use as a stage monitors, I have a set of their bigger brothers the b215s which are amazing! But i wanted a smaller rig since i drive a mustang, and wanted something that would fit easier.Paired them with a very powerful crown amp. The same amp works wonders with the 215s.The fact is these just arent loud enough for actual giging use. The speaker just can't move enough air and doesnt have enough frequency response for a monitor or PA application.Compared to the yamaha active 12s these things are a waste of money the Yamaha kicks this things ass so bad its criminal. Get the b215s or spend the extra 200 on the yamaha or JBL you will be way happier. The 15s are wonderful the b212s are useless...

Can't be beat for the price.
I've played in bands for over 25 years. I ordered these and they showed up just in time for a gig the next day. We were out side in my four piece dad band (Mostly classic rock). We used two behringers and two seismic audio subs (15s). We miced the guitars, bass guitar, kick drum and an overhead drum mic. Plus four vocal mics. We were running our own sound and were playing DJ music during our breaks. When I stepped out front I was really pleased with the crisp, articulate sound. During the DJ music at breaks it was really great too. Had to cut the highs a lot. These absolutely blew our old Peavey pr15s away. We always struggled to get the good highs out of those peaveys. So easy to carry, and mount on poles. Already saving up for some more to use as monitors.

Good overall sound, not to much bass
Good product for the money. Easy to carry and set up. I would give it five stars but the pole mount is lacking. The hole is not deep enough and is larger in diameter than any stand I have ever used. Will have to make a bushing to get a better fit. It is to wobbly as is. Other than that a good speaker for the price. Buy it and make a bushing.

If this is for music, you better have a subwoofer..
Purchased to use occasionally to DJ some middle school dances. Connected them to my Crown amp and tested them out. After an initial test, I can't get them to sound good without lots of EQ and a lot of help on the low end.Pros:Inexpensive for a PA SpeakerLoud - Somewhat efficient (louder at equal volume than some other larger speakers I have)Very lightweightCons:Don't sound good without a lot of equalization and absolutely need a subwoofer for any music that has any amount of bassOne of them has a dent from shipping on the grillOverall - I will likely send them back and look for something better.
