Felt totally ripped off!!!
To charge the price of a real novel for this worthless page after page of Reacher's thoughts on certain situaions with almost all coming from the Reacher novels I have read. If it was $1.99 then it barely would have been worth the price paid. Do not waste your time with this title!

If you LOVE the Lee Childs Jack Reacher's books. I currently have 20 out of the 30 or so. It's BAD.
Don't waste your money. This is differently not a novel by any stretch of the imagine. It is a VERY SMALL, pocket book size. Pages and pages of no writing, a picture of something. Some, hole pages have two words. These are mostly quotes, one and two liners from the many great books and two movies. Can't believe Lee published such a scam and it's not even a cheap scam.

If you are a Jack Reacher fan this book will provide an informative background of the character.
Lately I have become somewhat of a Jack Reacher fan. Even though I saw the movie some time ago starring Tom Cruise as Jack Reacher, I still did not search out the books about the guy. Recently I was given the first Jack Reacher novel by Lee Child and after reading it I was hooked.I like to know everything about a character in an action novel and decided to purchase this book (Jack Reacher’s Rules) which gives an interesting and informative outline of how Jack thinks about all kinds of things. I found this 152 page hardcover book, with an introduction by Lee Child, who created the Jack Reacher character, a quick and enjoyable read. It covers more than 55 areas of Jack’s rules which came from the Lee Child’s numerous novels. Some of the areas covered include the following: “Be prepared, choose your weapons, the United States Army Military Police, the rules of coffee, conquer your fear, confronting death, cracking codes and passwords, fighting, fighting tips, hand-to-hand combat, how to shake hands, hitchhiking rules, West Point, Lessons learned in the military, Hogan’s alley, how to tell if they’re lying, Reacher’s moral code, the science of the perfect shot, why it’s not smart to have a phone, how to win the battle, how to win the war” and much, much more.Even though some of the reviews were critical of this book I personally liked it because it gave me a guide to follow when I read more of Jack Reacher novels.Rating: 4 Stars. Joseph J. Truncale (Author: The Samurai Soul: An old warrior’s poetic tribute).

I've read them all
When you read a Jack Reacher book you end up using a lot of different rules that he has. I've been sitting with a wall to my back long before ever reading it though. I've always been good about self preservation.

Rules
I recognize his application of these rules in Lee Child's books about Jack Reacher, but I prefer to read his stories, and sadly, I think I have read them all. I look forward to any new adventures in the future.

This book rules
This is a compendium of all things Reacher. From how many minutes it takes Jack to shower to how to walk up a set of stairs to avoid detection. Readers of the Reacher series of books will recognize bits of wisdom from many of the individual books. It's a handy reference guide to the 10 codes Reacher uses to communicate with fellow MPs, too. An indispensable guide to keep at hand.

TERRIBLE RIP-OFF
Read all of Jack Reacher novels in order. Enjoyed them and even the short stories...BUT THIS IS JUST random sentences triple spaced from the novels and elsewhere grouped by broad subject matter. Like reading random FaceBook posts. There is a whole chapter that is just a list of acronyms with the words making up the acronyms as explanations. There is no way anyone would set out to "write" this - it looks like the editors just did a phrase search on their hard drive containing all the Reacher novels and printed out the results. Don't waste your money. Only reason I posted one star is that Amazon requires it in order to post review!

Oh dear!
I like Lee Child as an author and bought all his books. Usually. I can't wait for the paperback and succumb to the hardback. Added this to my holiday reading and I wished I hadn't, It didn't contain anything that wasn't in thePrevious books. it felt like a ' cut and paste' exercise. Nevertheless, seeing his traits condensed in one book made me drop the idea of thinking how nice it would be to meet this guy. Not appealing, at all, due to the number of days he thinks he can wear his shirts and underpants without changing them.

A must for Jack Reacher's fans
I must admit that my comments a a bit biased because I am a fan of Jack Reacher.I have read all his books and I love them all. This is not a novel. It's a sort of Recher's "red book". It is compendium of all his peculiar habits, remarkable ideas, brilliant intuitions. Absolutely nothing new. Everything already appeared in his books. So, if you remember every single line from his adventures (like I do), this booklet could be considered superfluous.... but still is handy and funny!

A quick fun read
If you like the Jack Reacher series then this is a fun, quick and easy read. One of those books that is ideal if you need to kill time but are likely to be disturbed. Not recommended if you've not read the series.

Perfect toilet room book
Short and snappy little tit-bits in a Jack Reacher style. Elements of this are direct pieces that have been said in the books, other bits are quotes. For the price it's well worth picking up to pass five minutes whilst your sat on the toilet.
