Great to read while listening to some scary songs.
A complete thriller that will have you doubting about all participants in this twisted mind game. The thrill keeps elevating every page your turn and it doesn't release your anxiety, a must read for fans of the genre!I read it while listening to the eery songs from Majora's Mask, a game which has a great but dark soundtrack!

I liked it more than other stories I have read.
The story plot was kind of bland and it wasn't my favorite story so far. It was gory but personally I like gore so a 7/10.

Best horror manga I've ever read!
This series was a masterpiece! I saw it and thought it looked interesting so I bought it...and it was great. The setting felt creepy and not just something that we see and move on from and it actually makes you care about the characters. This book was awesome and I really want it to be a little bit more well known.

Anticipation of volume 2, has already got me biting my nails!
Defiantly one of the best new manga I've read this year. This is the first I've read by Yoshiki Tonogai, and I'm a fan right off the bat, Excellently presented, and greatly suspenseful, and just twisted enough to keep things interesting, I was hooked!

Functional, but not memorable
This book is hard to review. On its own merits it is certainly entertaining, even if nothing particular is memorable. (And that will be the theme of this review: functional, but not memorable.) However, and I will not provide any spoilers, but what comes next makes this volume a waste of time.To look at this book as a self-contained story, it could be worth a read for some people. Like other reviews pointed out, it really is a great deal given the volume's size and price. The story's premise is original and imaginative, but its execution is a bit more conventional. Outside of the overall plot summary as described on the back of the book, I would be hard pressed to describe the story simply because it is not particularly memorable. It is not bad, and it is even entertaining while you read it, but neither is it particularly good. It is just average, and thus the 3 stars. The story falls into a repetitive pattern, but there are minor twists and turns that give it some variety. The characters are all fairly generic and underdeveloped, excluding the main character. But that could be excused since most of them are really just cannon fodder to be executed as the story progresses. The art is well done, but only enough to be at the high end of average. It looks like countless other manga, but it serves its purpose. If you were to drop these characters into another manga (or other characters into this setting) you couldn't identify them. Again, functional while you read but not memorable. The dialogue and interactions between the characters would have to be the best part, in my opinion. It was well written and genuine. This story handles the minute-to-minute interactions very well. It is these micro interactions that create the tension and allow the story to entertain. So everything is serviceable, and you may even get invested in a character you identify with.HOWEVER, and this is a BIG however, this is just part of the story. It is not a self-contained story, so it is hard to review as such. It does not end on a cliff hanger, but it is clear that Volume 2 is required for any kind of resolution. And it is how this story progresses that leads to my recommendation that you avoid this 3-star book. I have read what comes next, and logic is about to be thrown right out the window. The plot twists as to who is really killing the characters is terrible. As for why he/she/they are killing is even worse. Volume 1 may seem entertaining on its own, but it is incomplete without Volume 2 and Volume 2 will make this entire story a waste of time.Like the other reviewers, right after reading Volume 1 I was planning to continue with Volume 2. After a few days, most of my interest had vanished. After actually reading the chapters that will make up Volume 2 and conclude this story arch, I just want those hours of my life back.

Very Enjoyable.
Just a good ol' horror-mystery. I called who the killer was right from the start. But, it still surprised me with how they handled it.Get both volumes and have a good read.

If you love your suspenseful horror manga
If you love your suspenseful horror manga, I highly recommend Doubt as it makes the reader 'doubt' literally every character in the story, and creates a tension when it seems no one can be trusted. I didn't release at first that all 4 volumes were put in these two books. Great quality and condition upon arrival. Good product and story overall. Enjoyed it.

Great manga so far!
so far this is a great manga. it has a good horror factor and is suspensful. the story is great and very interesting. the book itself is very large compared to the average manga volume (more than twice the thickness!) but that's not a bad thing. and the price is great for what you get. overall, i recommend this manga and i am looking forward to volume 2 coming out in english :D

Average
I was hoping for something interesting here. Comparing it to other manga like Monster and Death Note, this pales in comparison. Trying too hard to be complicated but I don't get the sense the author really knew where he was going with everything other than knowing where it ends. I found some of the storytelling on the pages hard to read. Normally manga flows very well but there were several pages in this book it was difficult to figure out what happened even after going back over the sequence. I bought issue 1 and 2 at the same time based on reviews. I have yet to read issue 2 but will likely do so tonight. If I had just bought the first one, I wouldn't have bothered with the second. There is much better manga out there and I'd give this one a pass.
