DOUBT, Vol. 2 (Doubt, 2)

A thrilling conclusion.
Unexpected and full of back and forth mind twists. As the climax approached, even the characters were confused themselves. I just wish it was cheaper. If you enjoyed this, locked-up, genre; you can follow this artist's other work, Judge.

I really wanted to like this
But in the end it just the killers motivations just seemed so silly that it was almost comical. So many red herrings that don't make sense, so many moving parts that couldn't possibly work together. Even considering that the killer is a manipulator there's just too many variables they couldn't account for. They're just the culprit because the writer decided that's who he wanted it to be, logic be damned.

... in this series of locked room murders is the best of the 3 in my opinion
The first in this series of locked room murders is the best of the 3 in my opinion. It really sets it up for all the series being interconnected and wondering where this is going to do in the long run. I recommend this to anyone who like the TV show 'The Following' but this is not as action packed and all about the suspense.

Brilliant
As the first book left off at a teasing point just before revealing the killer, I was really looking forward to this book. This time it's all action, there are less characters available to the story and they don't know who they can trust. This is where this book really becomes similar to the "Saw" franchise as it brings everything to an exciting end. I wasn't expecting the ending in this book and it's an interesting way to end the story. In my personal opinion this is although very similar to Saw, carried out better. It's more believable, it doesn't involve ridiculously complicated engineering, it's simply barcodes and locks and the human condition does the rest. As I tend to find is quite common, the Japanese have taken a similar concept and executed it better than America has. I don't mean that to be of any offense to anyone but you only have to look at Battle Royale vs The Hunger Games to see my point.

Really good though *spoiler alert* if someone is a murder suspect ...
Really good though *spoiler alert* if someone is a murder suspect they would have an officer outside their hospital room at all times and be handcuffed to the bed, so I found the ending to be unbelievable. Though I guessed right as to who did it though not why they were doing it!
