These boots are FAB. They look great and are warm and waterproof as they claim. They are fabric rather than leather which I like because they are more easy to clean and less likely to be damaged by getting wet. Altogether excellent and practical and in this case a real bargain.

I purchased these as the children's sizes are much cheaper than the adult sizes. I was a little concerned that they might be slightly smaller or narrower, however they've turned out to be a perfect fit. They're also very comfortable . Extremely pleased!

As with all Sorels they are rather large but this is to accommodate for the thick winter socks you wear under them. I like the cord pulley really useful rather than getting the laces down up in a hurry. The colouring is a little naff they look good in the picture but look rather tacky up close, mainly because the beige material has a waterproof texture - but they suit a purpose and they are very warm.

For children's shoes, arguably the most important part is the durability, as we know kids get in to all sorts of mischief when they are out and about. Thankfully, these tick those boxes and some more, with strong gum rubber soles, a strong black coated (like a welly) heel and toe, and a coated leather upper, all combined with a nice warm wool lining.The thing that I most like though is the style, they are gorgeous. Someone has really put some thought in to the design, as everything seems to work together really well, in terms of the colour match, materials, and the "chunky" feel to the boot overall. Styling isn't everything in kids winter footwear, but they did a really great job here.
