It also gives a great insight into the types of skills and strengths that firms expect candidates to possess and how these can be effectively demonstrated through past experiences - something that I personally struggled with prior to reading this guide.

I used this book in preparation for my interviews for training contracts at commercial law firms. In fact, it was given to me by the law firm to which I was applying. This demonstrates that it provides key insights into the application process that are directly applicable.

It's a great, digestible resource to use to aid you in the recruitment process. Not only does it cover ways to better your cv/cover letters etc, but it also covers ways to convert internships into full-time jobs and so much more.It is clear, concise and easy to follow - it gets straight to the point and doesn't include irrelevant information.
