Replacement sony tv remote control

Worked straight away with no setting up needed, looks and feels legit, the extra "youtube" button doesn't work for me.

My Sony Television’s remote control decided that it would stop working, and so I put NEW Batteries in the remote control but it still didn’t work!!So I went onto Amazon and found this seller, and purchased one of their replacement Sony remote controls, and I put NEW batteries in the replacement remote control AND IT WORKED FROM THE VERY FIRST TIME I STARTED USING IT.I can thoroughly recommend this seller, because the remote control arrived in very good time and it was well packaged and VERY REASONABLY PRICED. PLUS, after I put new batteries in the replacement remote control and ITS WORKED FROM THE VERY FIRST PRESS OF THE BUTTON/S.

My baby broke my original Sony remote so I needed a replacement sharply. For the record this remote is not Sony it’s a dupe. But it does work with my tv but it’s slightly flimsy and as you can see from my pic the original Sony remote is on the right and the dupe is on the left. There’s obvious differences with the actual look of the remote. I’m happy because it works excellently

I know I’ve given this item a 3star and some aspects 5star. It’s about the feel of the item I’m not sure if it’s because it’s new and needs used in or if it’s a completely different material from my original remote. I’ve only just received it and it’s seems to be working the tv without any problems. I have other Sony TVs in the house and if I need anymore replaced I would be confident enough to buy again.

The buttons are really stiff and click loudly. They’re not smooth like the original. buttons are hella chunky, raised and the casing has this coarse feel. It’s no way like the original and is a really poor copy replacement. Even the YouTube and Netflix buttons looked like cheap remakes of the logos. Feels like a cheap toy.

I have an older Sony Bravia TV (purchased 2010) and wasn't sure if this new control would work correctly. A new one was urgently needed as the original wouldn't work without hitting it on the palm of my hand, and something rattled inside the control constantly.The new one will take some getting used to as the buttons are in different places to the original (see photo). Also, some buttons like YT and Netflix do not work, due to age of the TV they are not installed/set up.Overall, a good investment.

Controler almost identical to the original; all buttons including You Tube and Netflix working well. Considerable saving v cost of Sony own brand. Item well packaged with prompt next day delivery.
