Item that my mother used to buy back in the 50's.
Not available in stores as it had become an item to pilfer off the shelves due to being expensive. Glad I found it on Amazon to get for Christmas presents for my siblings.

Disappointed
There were two big pieces but one of the pieces, the whole thing was much softer and tasted like tofu turkey, not like abalone at all. Therefore, I think only one piece was the real thing and the other was fake.
