Therm-a-RestProlite Plus Women's Ultralight Self-Inflating Backpacking Pad

I am always waiting for inflatable sleep pads to leak (each one I have ever purchased has ended up leaking with time). This one I've had for about 2 years and take it camping 2-5x per year. So far so good. Can't say how long it will last of course.It is nice and cozy and soft compared to my eggshell foam one I had been using.

I’ve used this about a half dozen times so far and I am quite pleased overall. I also have an XL thermarest “base camp” for car camping and crashing at friends homes. I find this very close in comfort to my luxury mat that is more than double its size and weight. Neither are large enough to roll over on, so your sleep will be slightly disrupted to “flip over” with either model. I’m an extremely deep sleeper and don’t move around a lot so I’m sure that helps keep me on the mat. If you are someone that moves a lot while sleeping, I think you would have a very different experience. I am a side sleeper and find this very comfortable. Also, the length is perfectly sufficient for me even tho I am taller than it is long. My bent knees more than make up the difference. I require a very firm mattress and this fits the bill tho I know others have complained that it is too “hard”. Time will tell as to its durability but I am quite pleased thus far.

While this is a woman's long, it was about 4 inches too short for my height. This was not a problem. I am 5'10"s average sized male. This sleeping pad works perfectly. Like others have mentioned, if you are a side sleeper your shoulders or hips do not bottom out through the pad. Extremely lite weight and small in size, I was able to stow this pad inside one of my compartments of my pack. I highly recommend this pad. I used it extensively in the sierras and it never let the cold penetrate from the ground. I cannot say enough good things about this pad. I recommend inflating it up to its max firmness.

The product works as expected, but somehow I missed the dimensions in the description, because this is for a youth size, at best. My legs from the knee down were completely off the pad and I'm not tall. Not a big deal, comfort-wise, until you consider the warm, insulating factor you get from a pad at 10,000 feet. Then it matters!

Super lightweight and easy to use. For the first use, I wasn't sure about it's self inflating properties...I added 5 breaths of air to help it along and left it inflated over night. Next morning I let the air out and tried it again a few hours later and it self inflated perfectly. The material adds warmth and has just the right amount of cushion while maintaining it's light weight and small packed-down size.

I just got mine and it says womens model on it. It isnt a huge problem but not what i thought i was getting. Not sure what the normal mens model is or what the difference would be? Taller? Wider shouders area maybe? Another strange thing i noticed is that it has a stamp on the package saying that it contains products known in the state of CA to cause cancer and birth defects?? Not sure how serious this is. I wont be using this in California or giving birth because i am not female but probably still concerning :) Seriously though.....i wonder how much of a warning i should take here? Perhaps i will return it and find something else. I have not opened mine yet and it did not appear to come with the stuff sack that others claim to have gotten.

I should have done a little more research, but the regular size, Cayenne-colored option is actually a women's regular, meaning it is only 66" in length rather than the typical 72" regular size.In addition, I've found that you really have to do quite a bit of manual inflating (blowing into the valve yourself) in order to get this pad to fully inflate. It does not self-inflate very well.

I use this when traveling to improve the feel of hard, lumpy, or saggy beds. But I'm not a camper so I can't say how it would be on the ground. It fits perfectly inside any suitcase so I don't leave home without it.

My 9 year old boy is not big but hardly fits and his weight of 25-26kg was enough that he just touched the floor with his hip when on the side on scout camp My wife (who this is supposed to be for and who s also not tall not heavy (50kg) finds it quite uncomfortable. and she just slides right offI have used many thermarests but this time disappointed

発熱してるんじゃないか、っていうくらい熱を持ちます。素晴らしい。長さも、足先や頭側は下にザック敷いたりジャケット丸めて突っ込んだりで不要なので、身長170センチくらいの方ならこの女性用を強くお勧めします。シュラフに入れて使ったりもしやすいですし。自分はハンモック泊用に購入しましたが、アンダーキルトいらないんじゃないかってくらい暖かいです。ちょっと気になるのは、ウレタンのふくらみがやや遅い気がすることと、表面が防水ではないようで、湿気を吸ってしまった場合の連泊時のリカバリーのしにくさです。

身長174ですがサイズはあえて女性用を購入。スペックで女性用のが暖かいようです。それに加えてエアｰマットレスなので寝る以外は極力Zライトシートで座りパンクを防ぐ必要があります。冬季の煮炊きはテント内なので180もあるとストーブを置く際に邪魔になってしまいます。168ですが全く問題と感じません。
