All I wanted to do was to cut a 3mm mild steel bolt. Just 3mm of mild steel. When the first blade went dull after about 3 passes I was utterly mystified, when the second and third also failed to cut through the bolt I was in disbelief. These really are that useless. You would be better off using a damp rag. A word of warning though, they do is heat up the work through friction and you may be surprised just how hot your work can get whilst you try in vain to cut through it. Avoid, really.

I was trying to cut a piece of metal pipe and I was damaging 2 blades for only one cut!The blade is made from a poor material and the teeths are essy broken.
