I never thought I could lust after a doormat as hard as I have this one. After keeping it in my shopping cart for over a year I finally committed to it and I have not regretted it for a second. That being said….I do not tell my family how much I paid for fear of ridicule. I wish other products from this line were available for purchase (like the matching tiles) but I believe they are only available for professional purchase.

This is a beautiful rug. Very well-made and durable. I have 3 mats from this manufacturer, and this is my favorite. A lot of money for a door mat, but definitely a case where you get what you pay for.

This outdoor rug is good quality and a nice size for the front door of a mid-century modern home. However, it is quite pricey, in my opinion.

The color, texture, style and quality are exceptional.Let me start off by saying that in the past I would have never considered a door mat in this price range. In fact, when I first saw the price I thought it was a mistake.Then I read more about these rugs and the maker. I’ve seen nothing like this in competitive offerings at any price. The designs are unique and designer-level. It’s hard to believe that the rug material is recycled plastic - it looks and feels like natural materials - dense and sturdy. The sand color is also beautiful and natural looking. Similar in color and diversity to a natural grass or jute product but infinitely more durable and better looking.I particularly love the pattern of this mat. It will look perfect in the foyer of our Midcentury inspired home where we are currently using a small wool throw rug.When you look at the value this rug offers for the price remember that this mat is one of the first things you will see when you enter your home. And this one fits our style perfectly and is thin enough to not impede the door.I’ve had many lower priced door mats over the years that have come and gone. I do expect this one to last a lifetime (ok I’m in my 60s) but that’s still a long time. The fact that it’s washable polymer with a very sturdy nonslip back will contribute to its longevity and keep it looking good.Lastly, we have a pea gravel driveway and walkway which often has people tracking in pieces of gravel. These wreak havoc on our hardwoods and the softer entry mats have still allowed this to be tracked in. I expect this industrial strength fiber texture and density to help remove more shoe debris than other mats.The label says Norwegian design made in the USA which is another nice plus. I’m satisfied with the price to quality ratio.Hey Mat has created a new category of luxury, high performance designer mats that I think you will be pleased with.

I didnt know I needed a scandinavian rug until recently. I love this rug. I put it at my backdoor because there is so much traffic in that area. It literally stays in one place and actually keeps my floors from getting dirty. I have had for awhile and am shocked at how well it works for my home.

I like this rug - great look and well-made. It has a sandy color and deep ridges to trap the dirt. You'll have to decide if it is worth the price, but it is a great rug!

This is an awesome rug with a beautiful Zen raked-sand pattern. It is of excellent quality and comes with care instructions on the tags which state that you can easily hose it off when needed. I expect this mat to last for many, many years, in which case I could justify the high price point.It arrived rolled as in the photos and after placing it in the sun for a short time, it is laying perfectly flat.

I like this carpet overall -I like the pattern - the actual finish of the carpet feels more like an outside carpet- more so than inside carpet.It is Rough - which is fine, but a bit of front door mat feel (but not as thick) By the door entrance (inside) it works.
