Mommy loves, puppy approved!
2 pics here. It started in the morning when I put it on my couch. Looks great, STAYS PUT, soft to sit on. I wish the coffee color matched my couch better, but, it’s brown which is nice. You can see the straps on the sides. I’m willing to put up with that smidge of tacky for the functionality. If you have a couch with removable back cushions you won’t see it at all. I put the 2 armchair covers over the straps so I don’t have to look at the blessedly thick band that se idea the cover to my couch. I was unsure if this would be popular with my 2 dogs... by the evening both had staked our favorite spots and fallen asleep on it. I think getting them off the couch might be an issue now, we shall see. LOL I was going to deduct 1/2 star because I am arthritic and have weak grip strength. This means it was hard for me to secure the straps, but still doable as it’s easy to slide the hook on and off the strap. Healthy people should be easy to do. But since this is geared at healthy people I left it a 5 star rating. Best cover I have ever owned and only one that stayed put!

GOOD-LOOKING COVERS WITH A NICE FEEL TO THEM
I bought this along with the matching loveseat cover for my father's furniture. His sofa is a chenille-type cloth fabric. He has a 10 lb Yorkie that jumps on and off the furniture, so it does require some readjustment of the covers. But there aren't any furniture covers that will stay completely in place all the time. These seem to grip pretty well and they look nice. I had purchased these once before for a leather sofa and loveseat, but they would not stay in place on the leather at all. I returned those, but wanted to give this brand another try on cloth fabric because I liked the look of the covers so well. I believe these are worth the money if you are going to use them on cloth furniture.

Not perfect but a pretty darn good couch cover
I was so sick of crappy couch covers which constantly needed to be adjusted and mostly ended up on the floor. Desperate for something, I bit the bullet and bought these although they were more than I wanted to pay. (OK, I'm pretty cheap!) No couch cover is all that attractive, but I have a very light colored couch and 4 active grandchildren and a 70-pound Golden Retriever who thinks they couch is a trampoline. After 2 weeks, I am very happy with the stability of the cover. It has stayed on quite well. The dog still manages to move the cushions around and try to push them on to the floor, but the couch has remained covered with the dog hair-covered Gorilla. I am hoping this continues to work well as I know long go nuts with my crazy dog's antics or children who think the couch is a bouncy house...well maybe semi nuts.

Meh.
Material is nice and the fit is as described. Quality of the non-slip back is best I’ve encountered, and I’ve had a few now.Downsides are that it cannot be machine dried per the label… removing it to launder and then needing to air dry then also means my sofa isn’t protected for a day - and that’s not helpful. Also means one needs a place to dry it… also, not helpful, esp. in cold seasons. My personal problem is also that it does not stay put on my leather sofa. The back often slips down onto the seat below, almost as soon as the furniture is sat on. And of course the seat slips forward towards the floor, and shifts in multiple directions on the cushions.Seems less likely to occur on a fabric sofa as the grip is decent. Wish I could love it, but for our dog-filled household, being off the sofa a day every week while it’s laundered and dried just isn’t good enough.

Works Well & Looks Good
I have a sofa whose upholstery is starting to flake off. Rather than buy an expensive new sofa that I might have to discard in a few years, I decided to just cover it with the Gorilla Grip cover instead. The cover fits well, doesn't slide too much, and seems to be of a high quality. The whole setup (sofa with cover on it) looks better than I had expected. I seem to have saved a good bit of money that I can now use for something that I would rather buy!I recommend this cover for an aging sofa (or a new one that you want to protect, for that matter).

Did Not Work
I have two overstuffed leather couches that have reclining ends. I was really excited for these as some of the leather was peeling and unsightly. They were just okay at first, they fell down every once in a while and the straps kept slip sliding around the back of the couch, making it hard for the top part to stay in place. It was frustrating to have to keep putting them back up; the "sticky" backing didn't really seem to do anything.I cleaned them a couple of times and that was east enough; they did clean right up. I have two dogs and it was easy enough to keep the fur off of them. I really just wish they stayed up more; couch covers that never stay on defeated their whole purpose (hence the low rating). In the end, having covers that we're always falling down made the couches and living room look worse than the peeling leather I was trying to cover in the first place. Would not buy again and would return if I could.

Great couch cover!
This is the third couch cover and probably the last. We have a 13' couch so I bought two. The last one cover with Styrofoam in pockets to keep it attached didn't work so well. The Styrofoam tubes kept working their way out and became very uncomfortable. No problems like that with this one. The very sturdy straps under the cushions and behind the back of the couch keep it in place, even with the dogs using it daily. The grippy texture on the underside also keeps it from slipping on the leather couch. The texture is very nice as well. It does not feel cheap at all. Very happy customer.

They do not grip, or stay on the back of the couch or rests. I’m constantly fixing them.
I bought them because they said they grip, but they don’t stay up on the back of the couch or on the armrests
