MUSTANG SURVIVAL Re-Arm Kit Parent

This RE-ARM Kit's CO2 cartridge fit perfectly into the vest's inflator housing. A previous kit that was purchased had a manufacturer's defect which prevented it from being installed correctly. The "install by" date is clearly printed on the kit's packaging and on the yellow bobbin itself. Make sure you closely follow the instructions on installing the kit.

I called the supplyer to make sure the item was up to date stock since they ezpire in 5 years and they were great to deal with.

Since this is a spare for my life vest, it may be awhile before I need to install it. It is what the manufacturer recommends though. Item arrived in time and undamaged. That’s about all I can report now.

Installation of the replacement Re-Arming Kit was simple and the instructions were simple to follow. I have never had to activate the inflator, so I don't know how it will work if activated. I hope I never have to use it. I replaced the old inflation system because it had expired based on the date.

This is the correct inflator the owner manual calls for. This inflator is made by the same company as the original.

Everything needed to swap the unit was in the package.

They WORK!, this was a replacement as my fishing buddy lost his footing and fell overboard.Fortunately he still had his jacket on and he was inflated and upright just as soon as he hit the waterjust me sure to ALWAYS check for the green indicator and the year of expiration (normally 5 years)

I purchased this directly from Mustang survival in March 2022. Unfortunately, Mustang sent me a package that expires in July 2022. These things have about a 5 year shelf life and here I'm ordering one that expires prior to the end of the boating season.Refunds are not easy. Contacted seller and seller declined. Dealing with amazon now.

The media could not be loaded.  This product will replace the canister in your self inflating PFD. Make sure you buy the correct one for you vest and follow the included directions closely. Check out my video for more infomation.Thanks Rob

My problem is the shelf life, when I received the product 80 percent was past.

Check your model. This was exactly what was required. Installation was easier than I expected. All ready for the water!!
