My child and I read this book together, and there were so many moments we hollered "Yay!" together it was astounding! He says it's the best book he ever read, and he usually only likes Wings if Fire. The AR level is 8.0 and it's appropriate for an 11 yr old boy. Max AR points is 24. Have a dictionary nearby for your kid as you read through it with them bc some words are challenging. This book was so good that we got the next 2 in the series AND donated it to our school's Library so that other kids can experience it. We are IN LOVE with this book! ❤️❤️❤️

This book it pretty great I bought it to replace my damaged copy. The icemark series is pretty epic.I started reading them as a kid (23 now) and I was a bit slow and read them out of order, I read Blade of Fire first but even out of order the story is amazing. I love Thirrin and Oskan I just love the whole icemark and especially their Vampiric Majesties.This series is literally for any age.

This is a great book and I love it. It is in excellent condition and was recieved earlier than expected. The only thing that took me by surprise was the cover. I really wanted the book with the cover picture shown, but I got the new edition with the new cover. Still a great book and great service, just a little disappointed.

Cry Of The Icemark I'm Irish/Scots descent and I read this book and then the series.Being Irish I found the concept of magicans (teenagers) then as husband and wife and ruler completely fascinating and tender. Then to add to the far out ideas you have snow lepards, Tree kings , werewolves and on and on. Stuart Hill like a true CELT has woven these facts and many more into a story which I could not put down. I have just purchased the triloghy for my daughter who has just had a son.I know she will love this trilogy and will in time read them to her son Liam just as we did to her with similiar stories.I wish Stuart would produce another book following the career of the son, the heir.

I have read this series more times then I can count, yet everytime I find something new from it. Beautiful, simply beautiful. And elegant tale, filled with adventure and love, trials of character, showcases of courage and bravery, and testaments to friendship and loyalty. Worthy of a read, or several.

Great story, adventuring with a young lady as she grips with coming to age, ascending the throne, and defending her land under siege. I enjoy reading it over and over.

A fantastic book with a breath taking story that has you on edge the entire time while adding in some humor here and there.all in all a great book and I recommend it to someone who love story,humor,and action all mixed into one.

I was not overly pleased since it was used an a paperback book I did expect it to be a bit worn around the edges I did not expect a rip in the front cover. Obviously their definition of very good needs some work.
