Knit PicksStraight Single Point Wood Knitting Needle Set US 4-11 (Mosaic 10")

These are the softest needles I've ever used. I got a sliver from the cheap bamboo needles I was using before these and decided I needed better quality. These needles are not too slippery and the stitches stay on the needle nicely. The colors are beautiful and the needle sizes are very clearly marked which is helpful when working on more than one project.

So very pleased with these knitting needles. They are beautiful. The wood grain is perfectly smooth, but not so smooth that the yarn slips off. Just right. The tips are sharp. Light weight. Plastic pouch is simple - clear and holds the needles flat, easy to store. Overall, a delight to work with.

These are beautiful needles and wonderful to work with. The wool slides off easily and they are strong and much better than regular bamboo.Update - after less than 3 months, 2 of the sets of needles that I use the most have become rough and scrape against one another. I posted a question on Amazon and Knit Picks responded and told me to call their customer service and they will replace them. I have done that and am waiting for them as we speak and hope that I don't have any more problem with them as I REALLY love them - they are super smooth to work with, which was why I was so disappointed. However, I hope that it was just a defect but thank Knit Picks for their great customer service - no hassles and they appear to want a satisfied customer - my favourite kind of company. Thanks all for your responses.

I hate not having what I need on hand, so I started looking for a versatile set of needles so I didn't need to run out everytime I wanted to start something new. The needles are a little darker in color than expected (sunstruck), but still makes it easy to see my stitches, regardless of the color being used. The needles are smooth and feel solid. Upon first use, they felt very grabby, almost tacky and were quite slow and I thought for sure I was going to return them, but after using them for a few days, that feeling went away and I LOVE them! I can't stand the sound of metal needeles and I dislike how slippery they are. If you're somebody that feels the same way, then I would definitely recommend these needles. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I ended up liking them after my initial impression.

I have. By even using other birch needles, but when I broke a needle (sat on it. DUH!) I couldn’t find a replacement that would be delivered soon until I looked at other brands of birch needles and I came across this set. Not only are they affordable and made by a well-known company, they’re the best needles I have ever used!!! I intend to buy a second set for back-up. They’re comfortable to hold and have a great tip. And they come in a wonderful case. Highly recommended!!!!

I absolutely love these needles!! Yarn just glides over them. The colorway is beautiful and the tips are pointy. These are my new favorite needles!
