Don’t buy before reading this
Unfortunately there are no installation instructions provided on Amazon for this fixture, and the instruction sheet in the box shows the coverplate is to be screwed directly onto a junction box, not mounted to a crossbar. I have attached pictures, but there should be better information on the website so we know what we are buying. There are 2 screwholes in the coverplate, which are 3.5” apart. My recessed junction box screwholes are 2.75” apart. The coverplate has “knockouts” on the back side, (shown in one attached picture) which are recessed locations for drilling additional screwholes, including ones that are 2.75” apart. The instruction sheet picture assumes that you have a round junction box with 4 mounting holes (2 above and 2 below the centerline). My junction boxes all have 2 mounting holes, directly across from each other on the horizontal centerline. So even if I drilled out 2 more holes in the coverplate, 2.75” apart, the lampholders would then be mounted crooked (on a diagonal). The fixture is very sturdy, strong metal. In addition to the coverplate and two lampholders, there are 2 screws, 2 locknuts, a gasket, a screw-in plug for the third hole in the coverplate, and 2 thick rubber gaskets to protect the sockets from moisture and debris. The screw-in plug is gray metal instead of painted white. A big plus for this fixture is the ability to lock the position of the lights in any direction with locknuts on the outside of the coverplate (at the base of each lamp arm), and with serrated swivels by loosening a phillips screw (I would have preferred a thumbscrew). So if you have a compatible junction box, this could be a great fixture.

Covered Flood Lights (No Sensor)
I have found it VERY difficult to find a simple flood light that covers the bulbs and activates via a light switch. Leave it to Amazon to carry just about anything I need.Installation was straightforward, you will need an outdoor electrical box to attach these lights. I found the screws that attach the fixture to the box were short and had to purchase longer ones. This wasn't a deal breaker, but since I was attaching these under my eaves I was continually dropping the screws trying to secure the fixture to the box. Lastly, for such a simple light, I thought the price was a little excessive (~$35); IMO they should be ~$25, but as long as they last I will have no problems with the purchase.Once everything was connected and secured, I popped in some PR38 outdoor LEDs and I was good to go. Now my backyard lights up well.

NOT as big as you think, nor as reviewers would have you believe.
Bought these to shelter my LED security lights for the back yard. All my other fixtures are mounted directly under the eves which provide SOME protection, but there is ONE location that is out in the openI needed a longer fixture to get the job done. All of the reviews suggested that large bulbs would fit just fine, AND the image LOOKED exactly like ONE of my fixtures that WAS the right sizeWell - - THIS one was NOT (see attached photo)Most unfortunate as the construction is quite sturdy and I have no doubt that had it been the right size, all would have been well.As it is, I can't use it, so it has to go back.

Nice Modern Matte Black Non-Motion Option
Didn’t think it would be so hard to find a flood light that:1. Isn’t Built-In LED (So you don't have to replace the whole fixture if/when it fails, most aren’t dimmable, etc.)2. Doesn’t have motion detection3. Is attractive, modern looking and “basic” - nothing too fancy after all it’s a floodlight4. High quality, durable metal finish5. Weatherproof / Wet Rated (live in Florida, even if it’s covered the elements can be unforgiving)This one ticks the boxes. Happy to pay a bit more for what I want, and with the addition of the LED lights and the weatherproof outlet box I purchased it was around the same price of a lot of the integrated LED options I was looking at.Was additionally happy to see easily understandable instructions and an exploded diagram clearly written by someone with a good command of the English language, high quality hardware, and unexpectedly high fit and finish. For me, totally worth it.Best end result after evaluating a handful of the far-east gray brand lighting options.

Sturdy light but be ready for some unexpected DIY work
I bought one of these (in white) to check out quality before buying 5 more that I need. Overall, construction seems good - all metal and appears sturdy. Only time will tell how well the paint will last in southern Florida's humidity. So far I am giving this product 3 stars even though it probably deserves 4, because I encountered several of the same problems other reviews (some a year old) mention, and the manufacturer continues to not correct:1) There is no mounting plate included to attach to the electrical box, so you have to either use the old one or get one independently.2) The screw holes for attaching the light base to a mounting plate are too far apart to connect to a standard box mounting plate (the distance should be 2.75 inches) - it turns out there are "punch-outs" on the light base for the correct size, but the wider ones were drilled out by the manufacturer instead. So you have to drill out the alternate set yourself, but now are left with the two original holes which have to be plugged with silicone or something similar to not let water and moisture in.3) The center of the base plate has a large screw hole opening and the screw plug that is supplied to fit into it is bare metal - not white as it should be, so you either have to paint it or have a silver metal circle in the middle of the light base.It seems the manufacturer should care to make the easy fixes on an otherwise decent quality Chinese product.

Great find for the price
Exactly what we were looking for to replace some old fixtures that were almost identical. Very pleased with the quality for the low cost. Glad they came in the "bronze" color (which is more like a dark, dark brown), as we didn't want black fixtures. Was not easy to find single bulb fixtures like this... most everything in this category is motion-sensor security type lighting, and often with bulbs fully exposed, so we were really happy to find these. Time will tell how well the finish lasts, but right now we're super-satisfied.

Good Quality Fixture
Product is well made with good quality metal. Paint finish looks good too. Despite what's written in the title, this product does NOT come with with a motion sensor. Only one small issue: the tightening nuts and the screw in plug for the middle hole are not painted. Luckily I had a can of matching spray paint.

Great Quality flood light fixture
Well made light that feels good and sturdy when assembled. It uses a gasket to seal against the surface the electrical box is in. I still applied some clear silicone around the fixture just to be sure about water, snow, etc. I used a couple LED bulbs and it lights up my backyard perfectly for the dog and myself

Well built light
Thick aluminum, good up and down motion and a good retention screw. Porcelain socket. When pointing the lamp up outdoors it might fill with rainwater so I drilled a small hole to drain it. Great light fixture

Just what I needed
I didn't want a light with motion detection so these are perfect. Easy to install and lights up the area of my yard perfectly (lights purchased separately).
