Atempting the model without the correct tools will be a waste of time and money, it will break so easily. They are a must for this model. However, once complete, looks very nice and has an enjoyable essembly process.

My Daughter thought this was a marvellous present and really enjoyed putting it together and has asked for another which I am purchasing next pay day, highly recommend this product keeps your kids occupied for hours...

Once again Piececool have delivered another stunning model.Having previously completed the Notre Dame model I was looking for another and bought this one. Although I enjoyed making this it was far more repetitive than Notre Dame with a lot of the pieces being the same and the same process being done again and again. There were times when I got a little bored making this one.If you've never made a model like this one before I'd recommend going for something a little easier to start with. The written instructions weren't in English but the majority of instructions are picture based anyway so not too much of a problem. Just the important bits like when folding a piece, which is the symbol for the engraved side and which is the symbol for non engraved side. If you've made them before you'll know the key though.The finished model looks great, although a little boring just being silver and red. I prefer the models with more colours and finer detail.

Very fiddly parts so nimble fingers required takes a lot of patience but very rewarding great for brain exercise I would buy more

A clever design that builds into a beautiful little ornament. Quite challenging in places due to having to manipulate very small parts. It passed the time nicely, and it was fascinating to see it take shape. However, I found the construction method a bit samey, the parts largely being fitted by pinching and twisting tabs. Would I build another? Well, if the model was attractive enough, possibly.

This kit was exactly as described, and certainly deserving of 6* difficulty due to lots of smaller parts. Finally completed this after probably close to 20 hours working on it and love the final result!I definitely recommend having a good set of tweezers, and a needle nose plier for twisting tabs as I couldn't feel my fingertips after an hour of trying to twist with tweezers!If you like making models, and putting together jigsaw puzzles, you'd likely enjoy this!

much too small and fiddly. A hands-free magnifier would help. Also found instructions unclear in places.
