Great for kids that love to draw
My kid loves drawing. I can buy her a cheap thick sketchbook and she'll draw on every piece of paper within 2 weeks. She's only 4 but she has really shown such an interest in her creative side that I wanted to get something that would fulfill her need ro draw but not be so wasteful with paper.I ordered the little Genius kit from OSMO last Christmas and she still really enjoys it so I thought we'd try this out. This is absolutely perfect for her! She was so happy to get a new OSMO kit and the fact that it's all about drawing and creativity made it even better. I love that they don't charge to download and play the apps. All you have to do is buy the kit and there is no monthly fee like with other games like this. They have fantastic sales too. I highly recommend!!!

Definitely a cool addition to our iPad. My 8year old asked for this and I'd never heard it before but it's really helped with her artistic creativity. I recommend buying thin tip dry erase markers so you can really see the detail in the art. I love how it records the whole process. I would buy again and recommend to others

Every member of our family loves it! A hit every time.
The media could not be loaded. First, it’s underwhelming when you open it. It’s just a white board with some markers but when you connect to your iPad, be prepared for a wonderful and fun creative experience. The board is quite thick and easy to clean and the markets work great. The $50+ price tag includes the experience and not just the board so I would say it’s worth the money.I got this as a Christmas gift for my 5 year old along with the Osmo Genius Kit after seeing a good price around Black Friday because of how cool it looked. I was however kinda scared when I read the negative reviews after purchasing and wanted to return it but saw it could not be returned. It is so interactive and funny. The monster reminds me of Sully from Monster’s ink and it’s super immersive! It tells your kid to draw different items and then the drawings become a part of the screen and the monster interacts with the drawing. It also helps my daughter sharpen her drawing skills and deepen her creativity. We all love it! Cross your fingers and hope nothing goes wrong because if everything goes right, you and your kid are going to love it.See video posted for evidence of awesomeness!

Awesome for art/drawing lovers!
Giving it 4 stars because our red marker wAs already dry from the first 2/3 uses 🤦🏻♀️.So our Osmo creative kit was ordered late so it arrived after Christmas so I was thinking of returning it but I described it to my husband and he said keep it. We didn’t even open it right away once getting it, took us days. Now having opened it and played 2 of the apps I can say it’s the best gift/toy we bought my son this year! Surpasssing the switch! They have a drawing feature called “masterpiece” where you choose any picture you want and it projects it onto your paper for you to draw and I am so impressed! This is my favorite feature. My son prefers the app with the monster that tells you what to draw however I find it very odd most of the thinks he has them draw are not simple objects like a “vending machine” “fire hydrant” a 5 year old can’t draw these things so they try their best but almost all things don’t look how they are suppose to. That’s my only constructive criticism I have for the designers. I wish they would have made it easier kid friendly drawings (some are ) but most aren’t.I also think the “eraser” could be better.

Drawing
My grandkids love this. This is the best investment I made. You really need to get one for your grandkids. If you don’t have them, it kept them off the video games and they have so many different ones great learning experience for them.

Ages 5 and up unless adult is helping
If you want your kid to do this on their own I would recommend age 5 and up. I got this for my daughter who is 3.5 and she will do it on her own but doesn’t really draw the stuff it tells her too. It is an incredibly cute game but smaller kids will definitely need help with drawing

Awesome product for all little artists
I bought this for my niece who loves drawing and sketching. Monster Game take the kids through a journey where the character Mo takes kid's help in setting up his home, doing activities etc. Each activity involves the kid sketching something to help Mo. For example, drawing a bed on which Mo can sleep. I felt it is a great way to teach kids about things around them especially ones who are interested in drawing. Mo is always gentle and never discourages the kids even if sketches are not consistent with what he asks, which I felt is a great thing. Kids of this age cannot be taught by telling them by what is wrong, they learn the best through motivation and through reiterating what is right again and again. This is what the game does, it repeats the right thing through hints to kids multiple times eventually taking the kid to the right outcome. Kudos to Osmo for thinking it through. Note to parents, please play with your kids for the first time; your commentary on activities can really help the kids use it better.
