Fabric 6000 Series Futon Mattresses Vertical Innerspring Full Size (Lightning Fabric)

when I took it out of the box, it was compressed to about an inch thick.it had a nifty double perforated line in the plastic, like a zipper.the wife said, "release the kraken".I pulled it. I jumped back.it didn't spring, it just sort of lolled about and took up a lot of space.it sounded like one of those pods from body snatchers.it's an attractive mattress and looks well constructed.why, just the engineering that went into the packaging gets kudos from me.it was certainly cheaper than buying a whole new couch for the man-cave.4 days later:I waited a few days before submitting this review. I wanted to see if it would finish expanding.it did not.after 4 days it has stabilized at 5 inches thick instead of the 8 inches as advertised.in fact, it's thinner than the one I threw away.I was going to give it 4 stars but i'm changing that to 3 stars.I think their packaging efforts are too good which results in a deformed mattress.perhaps they put too much thought into packaging and not enough thought into the end product.that's too bad.I don't think I would recommend this product.

Nice Futon Mattress. It fit will on the frame that I had. The material is feels nice and the mattress isn't too thin.I was slightly worried about the futon as the box it came in looked damaged. There's a tag that tells you that the mattress needs to be placed in a certain way. I'm not sure why they have the tag as the mattress will try to unfold and slip off the futon anyway. You need to get a anti slip pad for these.

Love the futon mattress. Well made. Comfy to sit on. The leather is dog friendly too - won't collect dog hair or smells. Looks great with the futon frame.

Nice upgrade from our fabric covered coil spring futon. We don't feel the springs in this one even though it's firm. Probably because of the leather. It's not leather underneath but that's fine because that's not what you sit or sleep on. Nice leather finish and you can't tell it's bonded leather. It's definitely hinged so make sure you position it so the larger area of the mattress is on the back side, not the seat. Would definitely recommend it!

Was Easy to take out and unroll. It fluffs out when you take it out. Even has a idiot proof sign on the back telling you which way to sit it on your futon. Too easy.

Nothing to dislike. Was considering getting rid of my futon frame up untill now. Gotten tired of trying to make it look good. Now it is beautiful.

What a great product. When I received delivery of this item, I actually thought I ordered the wrong thing, because of the size of the box, but once I unpacked it from the shrink wrapped packaging, I saw that it was exactly what I ordered. It is beautiful and fits perfectly on my existing futon frame. I have not tried it out as a bed yet, but as a couch it totally fits the bill.

Initial product shipment showed up with deficiencies that should have been caught in manufacturing, so it was replaced, and then the second shipment showed up with a different problem. Had to get money back.
