Zen Page-A-Day Calendar 2021

The 2021 page-a-day calendars are larger, have a grid design on the reverse, which makes the pages even better for taking notes.The calendar is no longer in plastic shrink wrap, which I had always thought unnecessary. Also, the backer is no longer plastic, and is a sturdy cardboard. This is a great reduction in plastic in our environment while also improving the product.The day and date are still nice a legible, and the Zen quotes, koans, sayings are thoughtful and a great start to my day.Great updates to a great product!

This is a good calendar with great Zen sayings. The binder is nice but the pages aren’t glued together very well so they tend to come apart after some time.

I'll never forgive them for the money-saving step of combining Saturdays and Sundays, though. Saves them 52 sheets and 52 quotes.

Actually, it's not relevant what year it is, or what day it is, as long as you take a few minutes a day to experience a moment of reflection. This curated pad is also an opportunity to reflect how we attach meaning to coincidence. I reccomend this to anyone looking for enlightenment or not.

This is a nice little calendar and for the most part has good inspirational messages. But some days are a little bizarre and the quotes give me more of a laugh than anything. Such as:"When you are hanging by your hands from mountain ledge and can let go, not thinking of life or death, then you will have true freedom. You can see the wooden dog eating steel and defecating fire. You can shake hands with the hairy-shelled turtle and rabbit with horns. You can learn to play the flute that has no holes. But where does the sound of the flute come from?" Yeah...

A dear drawing professor of mine used to give us papers out of one of these at the end of the school year. I still have one framed. I finally got one of my own this year, it brings fond memories.

I'm disappointed this year. I don't like the larger format and the quotes are too wordy. It used to be the "Little Zen" calendar and I wish it would return to that philosophy.

This calendar is a must-have every year! I keep it right next to my coffee pot and read the calendar page while making my morning coffee. Coffee and Zen...great way to start the day! 😊

This Zen Page-a-Day Calendar features a ear off page each day (two days to a page but with 2 quotes at weekends) on a plain background with the date on a green panel at the bottom of the page. I love pulling off the sheet each day and reading the quote which genuinely gives you a bit of a lift or provokes thought. This years' version of the calendar features no plastic shrink wrap which is also welcome. Overall, this is a quality product in both its form and content.

. I like starting the day with a positive message to think about. I always have a Zen calender, it is a must every year.

I've been buying one of these every year for a very long time. Wouldn't be without one on my desk.
