SandtexRetail 10 Year Exterior Gloss Classic Burgundy 2.5 L

High gloss exterior paint likely to survive for a few years is getting harder and harder to find. Not only that, the range of colours is being reduced year by year in the UK. I put this high gloss burgundy over the recommended dark primer/undercoat. This was not without some difficulty. Even after removing the previous paint with heat gun and applying the appropriate undercoat, the first coat of burgundy, 10 minutes after application, showed small pits all the way through to the undercoat as if allergic to something on the surface. After rubbing down the second coat covered OK. At least 2 or 3 coats are needed for solid colour and successful coverage.On the other hand the results are so good that I will certainly buy it again, if it is still for sale.
