    One 10 dose pouch makes up to 528 gallons of milk in a commercial setting based upon application method.. In a home kitchen setting the 10 dose pouch contains approximately 2 to 2.5 teaspoons of mold culture. For most applications, 1/16 - 1/8 teaspoons of penicillium candidum per 2 to 4 gallons milk will work well. This culture is Penicillium Candidum to make the white mold on Camembert or Brie cheese. The mold with have medium height and rapid growth. You will also need MM culture too to make Camembert or Brie cheese. This product is not required to be refrigerated in shipment, only upon arrival. If you are concerned about post office misdelivery, late delivery, hot weather at your delivery zip code or inability to put in refrigerator upon arrival, you can add an ice pack in shipment for $3.75 more, plus the cost of the weight of this shipping. If you order more than one item, there will be one ice block for the entire order. You will need to select this as a separate purchase in our store as we do not automatically ship with an ice pack. Our ice pack option is also not available for shipment with other seller’s products.
