Tornadu Neoprene Ankle Brace - Best Support For Reducing risk of Injury & Sprain Recovery - Adjustable, Comfortable Fit - One Size & Fits Left Or Right Foot

After a recent ankle sprain, I order this because of the positive reviews. This is a well-fitting brace. A little complicated to figure out, but - once you have - easy peasy to put on your foot. As it claims, it does fit inside most of my shoes / boots. I also wear it around my foot (no socks) for a period every evening and it is very supportive. This is a keeper! Recommended.

It's a little thick to fit in shoes but works well. Once you figure out how to strap it on without the scratchy side of the Velcro irritating your skin it is very comfortable. Make sure to test it before you actually have to use it especially if you plan on using the added adjustable ankle supports. If you don't adjust them right they can be uncomfortable. Test fit them!I used them as a brace after a grade 2 sprain so I had to wear them all day, it took a half day to figure it out but afterwards it was great. Don't over tighten it.

I have several ankle braces. For the most support, I'd go with the ASO, as I find it has the best trade-offs between comfort and stability and bulk, if you really need a lot of support for playing sports (soccer). As for this brace, I wanted something a little more flexible, but with more support than those fabric/neonprene-only braces. These are OK. They are comfortable enough, but the fit isn't that great. I wear size 8-9 shoe, totally average sized feet/ankles. I really have to stretch to be able to wrap the foot part of the brace, and the ankle part actually has a fold/gap with extra material. It's fine and the extra ankle material cinches up with the added straps. I took off one star in that the "ADJUSTABLE PLASTIC BONES" are not at all adjustable. I wanted to change the positions to better support my ankle, and they were on the brace by velcro. As I was removing them, I realized that 1/3 of these supposedly adjustable bones were sewn into the brace itself! So no adjustment possible, sadly.

I am a woman size 7.5 and it does not fit well on me. I was thinking to return it since I did not use it at all. But I was out of town and by the time I come back, it had been a few weeks already.

Had high hopes for this brace; it's more hype than help. Luckily I did get it at a relatively reasonable price, not worth a return. The lateral support pads are a joke and make it almost impossible to wear any kind of shoe if these (removable) are attached (they are Velcro). The cross-over bracing offers some support, but this is simply not all it was touted in the reviews I perused before purchasing this. I suggest those with chronic ankle weakness or post-injury issues look elsewhere for the support you will need. THIS isn't it, by any stretch of the neoprene.

I bought this brace for one purpose: basketball. First off, the brace is very easy to get on and off. That being said, it can be squeezed into my basketball shoe (a little uncomfortable but I forget about it after a while). It was a nice brace but it was too big for my teenage daughter. I tried it on & it was too big for me as well. It would be idea for a man or a woman with large feet/ankles. We have petite ankles/feet.

Great support and definitely needed to prevent rolling your ankles. This brace was a must after I broke my ankle. It takes a little while to get used to if you're not used to having any kind of support. Until I used this product, I was unable to to perform sharp cuts for my Ultimate Club team and now have great improved my ankles strength and stamina to last the whole 3 hrs of practice. Fits well in my cleats.
