Right part to go onto a RP19804 in wall shower fawcett. Has knob, screw, and H/C insert.
Delta has a terrible web site for figuring out what part you have. So this may help you.I have a house built in 1999, with four bathroom showers. All use the same cartridge, an RP19804. It took a bit of hunting to determine the correct part number. So now that I've found the right one, I wanted to address all-in-one-place some of the questions I had, and that are in the Q/A somewhat piecemeal. What did I get with my order delivered Oct 1, 2020?1-H71 knob that looks like the OEM knob1-nonrusting screw that looks like the OEM screw1-insert to cover the screw hole and shows the hot/cold directions1 sheet of instructions for the entire Delta single handle rotating faucet handle lineHow was it packaged? In a cardboard box, sealed with a Delta security seal, and carrying the proper Delta parts and logos. It appears to be intended to go to professional plumbers rather than big box hardware stores. Inside the box, each individual piece was in a sealed plastic bag, and labeled with a part number. How did it fit?It looks and fits like the OEM part.

It's the right one!!!
This handle has the screw hole in the MIDDLE of the knob - not off to the side. The description doesn't say that. I had previously ordered another one, but the hole was off centered. So happy this fits and makes my faucet look like new. I used WD-40 - sprayed on a cloth and then rubbed on the faucets to make them shine and then they also repel water to keep the soap scum off. I did a complete bathroom scrub. Lived in this apartment over 20 years so it really needed it.

Good replacement for tricky 1300/1400 series delta cartridge
A couple weeks ago I suffered from the notorious Delta 1300/1400 series cartridge failure. The larger problem was the chrome handle is widely known for seizing due to calcium and lime deposits, this part is actually on Amazon.com as ASIN: B000VYIY2Q. You need to remove the handle before you can replace the cartridge. If your handle is stuck the only way to remove it is to drill out the set screw until you see brass. Stay away from this handle as a replacement, the set screw will seize on your from water dripping into the opening on the handle. A 1/8" allen key is needed however it strips and you will need to drill the handle off rendering it useless. If you want to keep replacing handles by all means.Anyhow - long story short. After some research I discovered that this H71 handle will fit the Delta 1300/1400 cartridge. The best part is the set screw which attached the H71 to the brass fitting on the cartridge is covered by a water proof cap which will not corrode. If you have found this review save yourself future headache and replace your old handle with this classy knob.PS - If you have trouble removing your old Delta chrome handle try soaking the set screw with a washcloth which was diluted with white vinegar and water. You can also try liquid wrench, this is what is recommended by Delta but did not work for me. Maybe it will work for someone else.

Good piece, good price
Lowe's Home Depot were charging 30+ for a universal kit for replacement. I was replacing the RP48717 handle Delta RP48717SS Single Lever Handle Kit, Stainless (previously mentioned in these reviews as having a design flaw, creating an exposed allen screw to rust over time.) This was discovered while investigating a leaking showerhead and replacing the valve. I have the Delta 1400 unit. I had a heck of a time getting the rusted screw off. Once the old handle was removed, I had a difficult time getting the replacement knob, H71, completely on. There is a spacer in the chrome shaft. This plastic spacer Delta Faucet RP29569 Spacer must be removed when using the H71 Delta Faucet H71 Single Clear Knob Handle Kit, Other Finishes as the knob will not go on completely. After figuring this out, it works like a charm. highly recommend. fast deliveryThis "kit" is not accurately pictured. ordering this ASIN will only get you the knob, screw, and screw protecter for the front of the knob, not the chrome ring that lays flush with the tub.

Replace your handle that has corroded at the screw with this knob and never have a screw corrosion problem again.
Delta shower handles have an exposed screw that keeps them in place. In short order that screw will become corroded in place and you will not be able to remove it without drilling out the screw, meaning you ruin the handle and it cant be reused. The new handle you buy to replace it is going to have the same issue in short order. Instead you can replace the handle with this, which has the screw under a cover that keeps it from corroding, so you can remove it to change the shower cartridge or o rings to fix drips without having to ruin the handle hardware to do so.

Great item to replace my corroded chrome handle
My chrome handle on my delta 13 series shower corroded and fell off. So I bought this since it’s plastic and won’t corrode. My plumber installed it after installing the new cartridge and it works great.

A very reasonable replacement
I had the same experience as The Guru. My chrome handle just spun around in a circle, yet I could not remove the set screw to save my life. I ended out destroying the handle and the cartridge to get it off.I chose this H71 handle for my replacement and I am glad that I did. The screw is protected (in the front). If you want to keep it simple and inexpensive, this is a good choice for the 1300/1400 Delta unit.
