Cute happy book
This book was very enjoyable to read. No angst or drama. Interesting mystery on who’s sabotaging the factory. Ryan is such a cool fireman who is super nice and very sweet to Cassie. Cassie is a sweet, shy, geeky and smart girl who has a huge crush on Ryan since high school. They reunite when she’s back in town to help with her sister’s factory. They have great chemistry. This takes place in a small town and there are humorous moments. George the raccoon is pretty cool also. This is a feel good, easy and fun book and I had a fun time reading it. Onward to the next book about the next O’Dell brother.

OMG. Hot firefighter and sexy virgin geek and a raccoon
OMG. This book is so freaking amazing. I never laughed so hard. We have Ryan O'Dell, hometown firefighter of Happy Cat (yes thats the town name) and Cassie Sunderwell, computer gaming geek who is running her sister's sex toy factory. Yes a sex toy factory. Many townsfolk a OK with the factory but others don't want it in the town. Cassie left town as soon as she graduated high school years earlier. She had a crush on Ryan then but after an incident she hated him. She comes back to help her sister. Theres an incident at the factory and Ryan responds. It ends up being deemed an arson. Cassie and her sister, who's out of town, are prime suspects. Ryan woos Cassie. They get together. Oh and she's a virgin. They try to hook up but Ryan's roommate George interrupts their moment by falling on them. Because why? George is a raccoon. They hook up again, fall for each other. Another fire, Cassie is deemed the arsonist. Ryan acts the jerk. Then information comes out that it's really someone else. Ryan does the grand gesture, gets the town involved. Truth comes out, love prevails and George the raccoon is the big hero. It's a laugh riot story.

Light hearted and hilarious small town romance
If there is one thing I can expect from a story by Pippa Grant and Lili Valente is to laugh out loud. And Hosed was fun, light, and filled with a hilarious sense of humor. Because the situations and characters were not only hilarious and quirky but unconventional and adorable.Cassie Sunderwel is a video game coder who is back to Happy Cat to help her sister through a personal crisis by momentarily running her business. But even the mention of the Sunshine Sex Toys factory makes Cassie blush because, at 26, she is still a virgin. Yet, she is determined to make it work even when it means talking about dildos and lube.Firefighter Ryan O’Dell is well known in Happy Cat and has always taken care of his family. He lives next to Cassie's sister and has an adorable raccoon named George Cooney. He hasn't seen Cassie since she moved to San Francisco, but a fire at Sunshine Toys caused by a lube accident brings them face to face. And old high school feelings and memories arise. It's an almost drama-free story, but one with many funny moments. Small town romance at its best.

Fantastic read.
Pippa and Lili transport you to the town of Happy Cat, where Cassie is temporarily overseeing her sister's sex toy factory while she is away. She lives next door to Ryan, the individual who crushed her heart in high school. However, when they encounter each other again, sparks fly.If you're in the mood for delicious crazy, sizzling chemistry, and a plethora of uplifting emotions, you won't want to miss this!

Good, but something was off
This was an enjoyable read, and I liked how strong the lead female character is and how she took it upon herself to grow a little. I also liked that the hero was communicative (until the dummy part) and didn't try to push too hard for anything. But something felt off with this book, and I realized what it was. There isn't a lot of like world-building and the characters aren't as fully rounded as I would've expected. Had no idea Happy Cat was in Georgia(?) until like halfway through the book, the sense of the town feels like one long street, and it seems to only have like 20 people tops? The focus was on the main couple but even then, we don't get alot about who they are as people, so everything felt a little hollow? And the whole "villain" aspect of the story was so subtle that it almost seemed like it wasn't a problem, and then you don't see the come-to-jesus moment with the bad guy. He's barely in it, but he caused so much problems, and you don't really get to see why. You can assume, but not know for sure. It all felt a little murky, and you really want him to get his. Also, how is it that the main lead's sister never makes an appearance? The back-and-forth text messages are good, but she stays vague in the background. Is she going to get her own book? The details of her adventure were pretty vague, especially when she mentions that she started working. Like why? How?Still an enjoyable read, and while i'm hesitant to read the next bc of the maybe baby plot, i'll still continue with it.Overall, not what I expected and was a little dissapointing in the details, but still made me laugh at some points.

4.4 stars
I thought I'd be able to tell who wrote what in this collaboration. Especially, since I'm a HUGE Pippa Grant fan. However, I couldn't because this was seamlessly done. It had all the crazy hijinks, random animals, perfect characters(both primary and secondary), great storyline , and just the right amount of steam that I love about PG.There were a few areas that I wished had been explained more but still a solid book. I hope that Cassandra gets a story because her texts with her sister were hilarious.

A fantastically funny well writen love story 😍😍❤️❤️
Savannah and her sister Cassie grew up in Happy Cat , while Savannah stayed in their hometown, got married and opened a business selling sex toys ,Cassie was the computer geek and ended up coding in San Francisco she’s also still a virgin . When Savannah catches her husband cheating on her with with something that’s not a human she’s very quick to end the marriage . Totally humiliated and in melt down Savannah leaves Happy Cat and asks Cassie to help out with the running of her business whilst she is away. Not relishing the job as she’s not as outgoing as her sister she agrees to come to Happy Cat , Cassie also knows that some of the residents don’t like the fact that there’s a sex toy business in their sleepy town and are always protesting against it . More importantly though it’s soon becomes clear that someone wants to take matters further and destroy and close the business down permanently . The story is well written and I’ve got to say it made my laugh loudly several times whilst reading it ,of course there’s the hunky love interest for Cassie in the shape of a fireman Ryan who she’s had a crush on since high school, initially she’s quite cool towards him but that changes and things quickly get very hot and very steamy 🔥. Last but certainly not least the one and only George Clooney ...... no, not the actor but the pet raccoon of Ryan who’s antics add a great deal of humour to the story . Will we see a HEA for Cassie & Ryan ? 😍😍I think you can guess the answer to that . There’s also a lovely little bonus chapter you can download told in George’s words about his HEA ...... it’s very sweet ❤️❤️.

Hot Stuff
OMG I am not sure where to start I was hooked on this book from the minute I read the blurb, so let’s just say that I was ready to read this.Cassie is back in her home town to run her sister sex toy company. The that thing she was ever expecting was to run into o the only man in town she has even a little bit of history with but there in front of her stands her high school crush Ryan O’Dell and in a fire fighters uniform none the less if that isn’t what dreams are made of then what is? But she isn’t in town to reminisce about old times of their short but memorable high school friendship but to run and save her sister failing sex toy factory and company but after a fire in the lab and a few other minor accidents its looking like they are being sabotaged. But with half the town against the factory and her feelings for Ryan escalating faster than any fire could she be about to lose everything?Ryan O’Dell couldn’t believe who and what he was seeing Cassie Sunderland arriving on a bike with dildo handlebars….. when did she get back in town and how long is she staying? Ryan has always had a thing for Cassie but never did anything about now she is back in town for how long no one knows but he knows he wants her to be in his life and he is going to show her how good being in town can be until there is a misunderstanding. Can he make it right or has his lack of faith ruined what was the love he never knew he wanted?Really loved this book and am hoping that Happy cat becomes a series because there is a story there for Olivia and Jace that’s for sure. Brilliant read.

A joyful romance
Hosed is the sort of seamless collaboration between two fabulous authors that makes you wonder why that didn't always work together. This novel has all of the elements of a pretty perfect romantic comedy.1. Hot yet soulful hero.2. Heroine you'd genuinely like to be friends with.3. Eccentric, hilarious secondary characters.4. Hot and heavy love story, morphing into sweet and heart pounding true love.5. A boo, hiss villain who needs to be dealt with.6. A HEA that'll leave you smiling whenever you recall it.All in all, this book is just the sort of balm for the soul when things aren't perfect in real life.I really hope this is the start of a great writing partnership, everything worked for me.Joyous.
