Love these
I have bought a few boxes of these and retrofitted a bunch of my leather shoes with them. Most are the Cole Haan dress sneaker wingtip look shoes. They somehow seem to blend with most shades of brown. Worn daily for at least a year and not a single one has broken. Awesome

Excellent alternative to laces
I have these in all my dress shoes for work. They work great and make it easy to slip in and out, but have enough strength where the shoe does not feel like it will fall off. The first set I installed lasted about a year until one of the top laces broke, so the longevity is not great. However, I liked them so much I ended up ordering a new set to replace them.

All ten are the same length - about 1 1/2 inches or 25mm
I wasn't expecting these to all be the same size. They are too long for a pair of dress shoes that I have, so I have installed them on a pair of walking shoes. The ties slip through the eyelets when stretching them to put the shoes on. I'm not sure if slipping through is simply a feature of stretch laces. I am considering purchasing some jump rings and clamping them on the inside ends to keep them from slipping out - hope that works. It won't be an easy feat for someone with advanced arthritis. Just sayin'

I rarely review products, but I was skeptical and you may be too
I got two pairs of stretch laces before trying these in chukka boots. The first, 30" brown, were too "red" toned, and too long. The second, 26" dark brown, didn't work either, though the length was better. I tried these on a whim, but they looked cheap and artificial upon arrival and I figured not having the knot would draw attention. Well, these are really doing it for me, as it turns out. Your mileage may vary with regards to color, of course, but the flat brown and the hidden anchors are working for me, and the price for so many pieces is really good (especially compared to other stretch laces). I'm a parent, and one of those a-holes that wears boots in the summer, so being able to get them on easier and slip them off is a huge help.

Fantastic
As a flight attendant and having to go through Security in different countries where shoes have to come off, these are an incredible time saver!

A must have for dress shoes
I absolutely hate shoe laces. They're kind of this invention we deal with because there isn't anything out there that works well and doesn't make you look like a child (Velcro, I'm talking to you here). I also hate slip on dress shoes. They just look lazy. My personal opinions aside, these silicon shoelaces are brilliant. They fit wonderfully, keep my shoes at the perfect level of tightness and unbelievably look really cool. It makes the shoes look really clean, especially with tailored pants. And when you're running late for a meeting, or running through the airport you never have to worry about your laces coming loose and dropping a shoe.Pros: just about everythingCons: I wish they made them in grey for dress shoesOverall: If Koollaces paid me for all of the people I've tried to convince to buy these I'd be rich. I love these laces. So much that I bought them in both brown and black. If you wear dress shoes regularly for work or just because you're a stylish dude, you need to try these out. I'll never go back to the pedestrian way of life when I had to tie my shoes.

I wasn't expecting stretchy plastic
The product was shipped quickly by amazon and "'kind-of" looked like the photos. I was expecting some kind of stretchy fabric shoe lace material but it ended up being 10 identical-length rubbery-plastic strips.During installation it was hard to pull the little "T-shaped" end through each eyelet. I ended up using some needle-nose pliers to finish the job.Once installed in my Skechers casual lace-up shoes, the shoe was hard to stretch apart enough to easily put them on my feet, and I only have a C-width foot. For these to work right for my shoes, I really needed an assortment of different length strips, as my 4 eyelet pairs were each different distances apart.I think they would be fine if you were installing them on shoes exactly like the dress shoes shown in the description, where the facing eyelets are very close to each other. To be fair, the strips of stretchy plastic do like mostly like real laces from a couple feet away.As for me, I am going to look again and try something else. The low price made it worth a try, so no big loss.

Work perfectly
They do exactly what I had hoped they would do. I've been wearing them every day for months now, and they give no indication of wearing out any time soon. They turned a laced dress shoe into a loafer, allowing me to step out of the house with lunch and coffee and not have to put it all down and end up forgetting one of them. Great product.
