Good for my needs.
I am a septogenarian who did 5 gym classes per week. With the membership fees and petrol to get there that I saved during lockdown I decided I could buy some equipment and exercise at home in the future. I browsed on Amazon and chose this one because you can use it upright and sitting back. I have arthritis in my hands & arms which aches if I have to lean forward towards the handlebars too much or for too long.Gym quality it isn't but I wasn't expecting it to be at this price. It is strong and stable enough for me (5'2" & 9st) and would be ok for someone taller and heavier. The seat could have deeper padding to be more comfortable but it is of good size. It comes in several peices with tools and instructions. With just a bit of help to fully tighten a couple of nuts I put it together myself and it was not too difficult, though the instructions seemed to miss some stages. Hint: there are 3 leads on the computer you slot into 3 leads on the bike; they all look similar but not quite. I was confused which went to which till I realised the top three were 2 of one type and 1 of the other, and the lower three were reversed.I got on and rode it a bit to set seat height, pedal-strap size and check that the computer was working. I will update this review after using it for a while. So far I am pleased with it; it's a good bike for the price.Arrived a couple of days after ordering (on free delivery) two days before expected, well packed for transit and easy to open.Update after using several times:I was worried that my arms would ache when riding this bike if I have to lean forward for too long. I found the seat not only goes up and down but there are several settings between fully open and fully closed which enable you to sit more upright and it is more comfortable for me. It means I have a bit of a struggle to step over to get on with my short legs, but no more so than with the bikes at the gym.The resistance is less than the gym bikes where I found it almost impossible to push the pedals round at more than halfway up the settings. I'm fairly fit and relatively strong for my age/build and although at the first 'pushes' the highest resistance didn't seem very heavy after a a while I felt I was really working hard.I can't comment on the resistance straps as I prefer to hold onto the handlebars. I also did TRX down the gym and enjoyed the different techniques so I am going to buy myself a proper set when my home-gym is set up.I'm no 'digital wizard' but I managed to suss out how the computer worked quite easy. You need to press and hold the buttons for a second to activate them.Recap: a good bike at the price, sturdy enough for a 'larger' person, enough resistance for getting/keeping fit or someone needing rehab. But if you're fit, strong and competitive with your performance it might not be the one for you.

Forget the instruction booklet!
Now we've got it assembled, we're really pleased but what a performance! The print was too small for me to read, (not their fault) and the pictures didn't match some of the parts we had. After applying some common sense and changing the order of construction intended, we got there in the end! We're having no problem with the display and the functionality is better than anticipated.

It's common with these kind of items for the instruction manual to be poorly written, which makes it necessary to have some previous experience with a variety of tools. The exercise bike was not the exception. The manual was difficult to follow and gave no instruction at all on the configuration of the monitor plugs. The main part of the bike is pre-assembled but unfortunately one small part had not been pre assembled correctly. Luckily, we had the tools to rectify this or we would have had to return the unit.So on to the bike itself, I find it very comfortable to use and I am satisfied with the overall appearance and performance. Marked down because of the construction issues.

Poor Quality - lost cause
Bought this bike in March 2021(15 months ago). It is quite heavy & if you are small - difficult to dismount as the bars are high in the middle. After about 2 weeks, one of the stretch cords for arm exercise frayed down to the cable. I complained & was offered a £30 discount, which I accepted rather than all of the bother of returning the item. The bike is used most day - small stints 3 times per day for 30 mins each time (my wife & I are pensioners). Today - it has stopped pedalling - no traction. I have looked at it to see if it is something I can fix, but have now decided it's not worth the bother & am throwing in the towel !!

Not enough resistance even for someone very unfit
I bought this as a cheap trial of a home bike. I'm very unfit and want to change that. However, even on the highest resistance, it's not as hard a pedalling a real bike on the flat. Anything less than high resistance and it's like pedalling downhill. It is enough to get my heart rate up a little, but not enough to break a sweat even after 10mins of quite quick pedalling. And I'm really really not a fit person. Also, assembling it, the handlebar at the back of the seat does not attach as the instructions say, and the height mechanism doesn't work the way the instructions say either. There was also some rust spots where the coating had come off prior to delivery.Overall, it's fine to see if I can keep up an exercise routine, but it will need replacing with something with more resistance quite soon.

Generally very good.
I enjoyed the challenge of assembly and it wasn't too bad. People should note that the pedal threads are left and right handed and it is important get the right one. It is sturdy and portable. I found the resistance adequate.I found using the resistance bands while peddling really good but unfortunately the band rubbed against a guide plate and shredded and broke after about 5 weeks use.I have asked for a replacement band. I think it is worth repairing and may redesign it to eliminate the friction point.

Good value fold up exercise bike
After reading a lot of reviews about fold up exercise bikes, this one is better than I expected. The resistance levels are very weak in comparison to what you’d find in a gym but it’s still possible to work up a sweat on the highest of the 8 resistance settings if you keep your pace up. It’s sturdy and folds well. The resistance pulleys are an added bonus which allow you to train your back whilst cycling. For the money and it’s product type, I’d recommend this bike.
