Exercise Ball Base Stabilizes As Promised
As I reported when I reviewed the Active Balance Ball, I am a novice working out with it. I'm working on my balance. So, when I discovered the Ball Base, I jumped at the opportunity to try it. I actually thought it was a chair. Pic #1 shows that I received four pieces, that I put together in about five minutes. Pic 2 & 5 shows the completed base. Pic 3 is the base with the ball. I've tried it with a 65 cm. and a 55 cm. ball.I thought I was going to be able to workout with the ball on the base. When I began to research how to use the base effectively, I learned that it could best be used as a substitute for an office chair. So, I decided to try it. (See Pic 4)I usually put my notebook computer on a little computer table when I use it. I have a tendency to bend forward when using it. So, I decided to use the "chair" in an attempt to improve my posture and strengthen my core. Alas, I realized that, after I sat up straight for about two hours, I began to lean forward, unconsciously. Disaster.I despaired until I discovered my experience seems to be normal. So, now, I use the ball chair for two hour sessions only, as recommended.I was praying that I could use the base to help stabilize me during workouts. I've learned that most such chairs are NOT designed for that purpose.I'm happy I got it. While I don't use the base while working out, it seems that my balance is improving as I use the "chair" for office purposes. If there is a way to use the base in a workout, please tell me!!!!!

Great Portable Base for Travel
Packaging:Came in a plastic bag inside of a box. Made it here in one piece.Durability:It is able to take a beating during travel. The plastic that was use seems to be taking the wear of use just fine.User Experience:After using this base in conjunction with the Active Balance exercise ball for about a month I can happily say that the base has withstood being taken apart and reassembled multiple times. The base hold the ball in place while doing core workouts well. Also you cannot have this product without using your exercise ball on it as a chair which works great also. The slide-in locking pieces that keep this together is really tight and takes about ten to fifteen times of putting it together and taking it apart for it not to be as difficult to put together.Critique:Maybe have a box to send the product in but in my honest opinion I would’ve just thrown the box away after receiving it.Locking system is a tad bit stiff but works nonetheless

A useful base for your ball, but not indispensable!
The media could not be loaded. In my opinion, the base for the balance ball is a useful object to have at home, as part of your gym accessories. It is easy to assemble, weighs little, and the material is good enough. I usually use it, along with the balance ball, like a weight bench, for which it works relatively well. I think in terms of stability it is not as stable as I thought. Without the base, the ball still maintains some stability to do most of the exercises I do.I think its greatest virtue is in the fact that you have a place to put the ball, and also, you can use the set as a desk chair, improving my posture. In short, a useful accessory but far from being indispensable.

First time buying an exercise ball base and seems like it will last for a long time.

The stand is great stability for your workout ball.
The stand is great for stability. It works very well with your band workout. It’s also works well as a chair because the stand keeps the ball stable and you don’t have to worry about unnecessary ball movement. I will say that it’s difficult to get up when you complete an exercise on you back, since the ball is stable it doesn’t roll back when you’re trying to sit upright on the ball.

It's a ball stand; that's all.
Came together easy; but putting to actual use, is useless. I have a 56cm ball. When sitting on the ball on the stand, it just rolls off! Not a do over! It will be going back.

I like the idea just not sure this one does the job
For starters I've got my ball situated on carpet. What I found out almost immediately is that it doesn't move very readily when I want to push the ball under the table. Now when I sit on it, it simply does not stop my ball from falling off the base. Suffice it to say, it doesn't really perform as a ball chair base per se. I'd like to send it back but I don't have any of the original packing.

Couldn't join it
This product seems to be made of sturdy material but I just couldn't get it to join up in a circle. It still however holds my exercise ball nicely.

Disappointed
For the price I paid I was definitely expecting better. Yes the base holds the ball but I'm hoping the base won't end up puncturing my ball. I've tried rearranging the 4 plastic pieces to make them fit properly together and they just won't go. I'd expect something like that happening if I paid around $10 for it. But I paid a far cry from $10!

Flimsy plastic shell
It does the job for me to just stop an exercise ball rolling around but I would be dubious about sitting on it. Very overpriced for what it is.
