Fast shipping and they worked well. When I used them I made sure to center the “tail end so would be between the legs when I snipped the “tail” off, so as not to risk chaffing them or creating any sore areas from the small snipped end. Roughly 3 weeks for them raisins to dry up and fall off. Had a slight raw spot for a bit, but nothing major. Flies weren’t much of an issue even in mid June weather. No noticeable change in weight or eating habits, so I don’t think it shocked them ? I had a squeeze chute so it made it super easy. They walked off normal, no high stepping or looking sickly.

I love these things. We’ve been using a contraption for years that has surgical tubing and it works great but takes a good five minutes for each steer. These zip ties take less than a minute and they work great. Even a kid can put them on. What a great invention.

Used to castrate some bulls weighing 550-650 lbs. pulled the zip as tight as I could. After 5 weeks all of them still have their testicles/scrotum. I ran them thru the chute and found all of them raw above the band. Looks very painful. I am taking them to my vet this afternoon for final removal. I tried to save some time and money but the end result it it cost me more money and time. Now I have more healing time before these calves are marketable.

Don't waste your time with them. Had to have the vet out to cut the calves to keep them form gettingtetanus. Wasn't just me vet had two others in the past few weeks. Have 10 for sale really cheap.The calves were 300-450 lbs, not enough elastic to hold it in place.

I absolutely love this product. extremely easy to use and I feel it works faster than the normal casterating bands. I have had to use them on sheep when we have missed. They usually fall off with in 7-10 days. I do cut off the excess zip band.

Works just like a bander. Easier. Try them. You will love em. Definitely recommend.
