Great product, expanded my workout options
This is great, I have recommended it to friends. I like being able to bike at home whenever I want (at night, in the rain) and not have to worry about NYC street safety. It also keeps my bike off the floor as a bike stand which is nice. It was a little clunky to set up and it doesn't feel super stable for standing/climbing work. I can ride and watch TV or listen to music or a podcast (the noise is ok, not too loud). I may have missed this in other reviews and my pre-purchase research, but you have to replace the pin in you bike's back wheel with the one that comes with the stand - didn't expect that. Haven't had an issue when I take it back out on the street, but I just didn't expect to replace parts.

Great alternative to biking in harsh weather.
For what it costs and how well it works for me it is a solid five star product. My 2001 Marin nail Trail was sitting under my house 4 8 years. On good days I ride a GT Zaskar on mountain bike trails in a great State Forest. For days when it is simply too hot or when time is not on my side the Deuter bike trainer is a godsend. My 26in mountain bike has Kenda off road on road tires mounted on it and the noise when riding on the trainer is acceptable. And aggressive mountain bike tire May create noise that is unacceptable for mini. Placed in my bonus room in front of the home theater my bike is a joy to ride on harsh days. If I set the gearing on my bike and the pressure on the rear roller to tire so that pedaling is moderate I have plenty of adjustability with the built-in level adjuster and by shifting gears on the bike itself. Works like a champ. Highly recommended for those who don't have access to Trails or the road in difficult or extreme weather.

Works For Me
I bought this for riding indoors in very poor weather. I ride outside in the cold (down into the teens), the rain, the snow, the dark...but freezing rain, icy roads, and really dense fog were things I didn’t really want to contend with...so I needed something basic to get the job done on the rare nights I don’t go riding. This arrived quickly, was really easy to set up, and seems to work very well.I definitely get a workout from it, but it’s not as fun as actually riding. I find it to be quiet enough, but I have no other products to compare it with. For reference, I can easily hear my iPad while I’m watching documentaries while I use it.I also find it easy to adjust the resistance while using it, and as an added bonus it comes with the piece to raise the front wheel a bit so your bike remains level.Overall, I’m very happy with this.

Very Sturdy & Good Value (Kind of noisy with hybrid tires)
It is super easy to assemble and to put my bike on and take off. It is also very sturdy and so far works great. The only thing is it is too loud to use in the house, probably because I have hybrid tires on my bike. I use it in the garage and it's not as loud; I can easily hear a show playing on my phone over the noise of the tire.

Works well as an exercise bike
I bought it so that my wife could use it indoors as an exercise bike for her bad knee. This trainer is advertised to fit 26"-28" wheels but my wife's wheels were only 25"diameter. I gambled , and luckily I found that by buying an adjustment bolt that was a half inch longer, it worked fine with the 25' wheels. It is sturdy and holds the bike steady. I thought that it would come with a resistance adjustment that was controlled by a wire to the handlebars. It did not. But changing gears seems to work ok for an exercise bike. Good value for the money.

Perfect for those long winter months and snow! Safe! Easy setup!
I got this since I live in New York and summer is very short here. Let me just say that this is worth every penny! It has EXCELLENT resistance and will definitely make you sweat like a real bike ride. I’m not an avid biker but I hope this will get me into cycling. So far, so good! Easy setup and a great way to stay in shape during the winter.

Nice but wire controller flimsy!
Nice bike trainer, but wired controller clamp does not secure it to the handle bar. I use it with my kids smaller 24" bike without the quick release rear tire and works fine, as long as you don't go crazy.

Works great and well made
First impressions are very good.Very little assembly and quite easy to put together.Folds up neatly and when unfolded for use, it's a study unit made from powder coated steel. I'm not a particularly light guy and feel very stable on the bike while using it. I like that the quick release included with it is good enough to retain on the bike for road use as well. The noise from my pseudo-offroad tires is not unbearable, but enough that I've ordered some quiet road tires. Maybe obvious, but you wouldn't want to try it with knobbies. Even as-is, I can just turn up the radio and be fine with it. This would be the case with any of this style bike stand - the unit itself is virtually silent. The on-the-fly resistance adjustment is a must have if you want to retain the feel of uphill workouts or interval training. i.e. low gear, low resistance - then higher gears, high resistance. Also recommend getting some BT cadence and speed sensors so you can monitor your pace via phone/tablet.

Very Happy With This Trainer
So, I usually commute to work by bike. Because of Covid & winter I was looking for something to keep up my fitness during lockdowns. The set up on this is pretty straight forward. I can see how some people were getting a bit confused with the instructions as they are written in badly translated english (ie. It says screws and there is actually only one screw supplied and only one needed). It also came with a little wrench for set up which was nice.It does include the front wheel dock which is good as some of the other trainers at this price point don't seem to. My bike is a Giant commuter style and it fit in very easily. The resistance shifter fits easily on the handlebars and it us easy to use.The only fault I have, is that at higher resistance (say anywhere from 4-6), If I'm really pushing, sometimes I can feel my tire slip. This may be because my tire needs to be inflated a bit more, or I could tighten up the roller a bit. Not sure, but it's not a deal breaker for me. If you were someone who was looking for huge resistance like you might get on a spin bike, this is not for you. But if you are just looking for a good way to get a decent ride in with the ability to switch resistance up and down it's a great little trainer.I have mine in my garage so noise isn't really an issue, but I will say, that I don't find it to be loud at all. Overall really satisfied and would recommend for a commuter type rider who's just looking to stay fit and active while winter/lockdowns are on.

Great trainer for the money
Assembled it in about 5 minutes. As a part of my fitness routine, I do High Intensity Interval Training on a stationary bike at a gym. With all the gyms in Covid lockdown, I thought this might be a good alternative. The ones at Walmart were priced higher (and sold out), and while there was a Schwinn model at a Canadian Tire, it was more expensive and limited to one speed. This Deuter trainer with six difficulty settings combined with the gears on my bike provide as good an HIIT workout as any gym stationary bike. Also most other trainers do not come with a block for the front tire. Deuter supplied one, which was an added bonus. The ride itself is quite smooth, though not if you're off the saddle and sprinting hard: it tends to shake. The only drawback is the noise. I generally watch something on the computer without headphones and the tire noise is quite high. But that is not a trainer problem. It's due to the rough rear tire. I'll have to get a pair of blue tooth headphones next.If you don't care about all the other stats on high end trainers (calories burned, heart rate, workout programs etc.), and just want a good workout, this is a more than adequate trainer, especially considering how cheap it is.Very happy and no regrets.
