These things really work well. They provide just the right amount of heat with the "click of a button". When it stops producing heat, just boil it for a while and it is ready to go again. I highly recommend these little heat packs.

Was informed that the product could be reactivated in microwave. I didn't think it could be, so I argued with the assistant on the phone, and was assured that was the best way to deactivate. When item came, it had been activated in shipping. I microwaved it slowly...low power 15 seconds at a time. It caught on fire, and was ruined. When I contacted the company, they would not replace, or even give me discount on another one. Very rude to me on the phone!

This is a great product.It's easy to use, you just "click it" and it starts heating, and last quite a long time.When it cools, you just start again.

I use my Helios heating pads 24/7! These pads are very helpful in taking the edge off my nerve pain. They provide soothing relief and I wouldn't be without them. Other people have noticed how nice it is to have portable heat and are fascinated the heat lasts so long.

The kiosk salesmen were from the Mideast. Israel I think, and their english wasn't the best. Another kiosk had a lady, I think also from Israel, selling face-care products. The man held the smallest item for sail for me to see the liquid, and the metal piece that is like a penny inside floating in the liquid. He squeezed the "penny" and told me that's how you start it. Don't use the microwave he said, "just put it in boiling water for 5 to 15 minutes, let it cool, then it will stay warm for a while... his english wan't very good at all. I came back to the kiosk after I thought about it while I shopped. Yes, I do need something just like that, it's very cold outside where I walk my dog. So I purchased 2 of the smallest items. I boiled them for 5 minutes, let them cool and tucked them into my pockets where my hands would be. They worked as instructed. As it reads on the instructions, they are good for about 20 to 30 minutes, and that's what they did. They were warm and lasted about 20 to 30 minutes. At the kiosk I didn't haggle a price, perhaps I could have, I payed $10 for each. Would I recommend them? Heating up rice in a sock sounds like a good idea. If rice will do the trick, I'll go with that. BTW The lady selling skin moisturizers kept coming down, down, down in price. I didn't buy any of her product, but it smells nice... but that's another story.

I only got to use this product once. I followed the directions exactly for reactivating the pad, and it continues to return to an unusable crystallized form. I have tried this process multiple times to ensure it is not user error with the same results.Save your money and time and buy a traditional electric heating pad or homemade rice or soybean pad.It is much easier to take 1 1/2 minutes to heat a rice pad you know will work than 20+ minutes to boil and cool this product that may or may not work.Also, the company does not give cash refunds and you have to pay $10 shipping and handling for a replacement which may not work.Doesn’t even deserve the star I had to give it to post this.

Be warned that when you buy these products they are only good for one use then you have to boil to melt the crystals back to the liquid state. We asked numerous questions from the salesman, who NEVER explained that you have to boil to have this item return to its useable state. I even mentioned taking on a trip and using these on a motorcycle for warm hands or pockets. Now I have to lug these hardened plastic paperweights around till I get back home and boil them again. They are slick to see them work but why not just use an electric heating pad. I have just boiled one for 10 min and it did return to its liquid state but for the home use give me a heating pad. They tell you that there is an unlimited lifetime warranty and the pad will be replaced for any reason. UPDATE...My clear pad is cooling and crystals are staring to form again sooo per the website, back to the pot for some more cooking. This is a pain!! I would not recommend this product.

I bought this product at the seattle home show and it never worked from the start. The phone number on the product's box is a non working number. the website has no phone number, so I have emailed three times in the last week with no response. Very disappointing!
