Roadpro Warmer/Cooler, 20In Dia., 12V

this is a great little thing for the Van it fits most any place is sturdy plastic and works well after tipping over and sliding around!It has a good long cord for the plug and good door latch. salads to drinks it cools them well. Have not used the heater yet.

It doesn't get very cold.

Pros:+: Keeps soda nice and cool!+: Price isn't too badCons:-: It's noisy (gets even noisier as the cooling fan's ball bearings wear down!)-: Prone to condensation (may end up with a puddle of water at the bottom of the unit)-: Power draw is not specified on the package. This is very important for those with older vehicles/older batteries or those that would like to use this product inside a home or office and would need a 12V cigarette-lighter charger to 2-prong AC adapter (as the unit itself ONLY has a built-in 12V cigarette-lighter cord). Luckily, there is a charger on Amazon that works with this: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000FIY08U?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00 and I've confirmed that it worksOthers have pointed out that the motor dies on it after a few months. Well...I've only had it for about a week, so hopefully that doesn't happen to me! (EDIT: 10/28/2015: Cooling fan is getting very noisy now! It looks like the same type of 80mm fan used in actual computer cases! I might be able to replace the fan without much fuss...stay tuned!)I also haven't tried the "warm" functionality on this thing, as I'm not using it for that purpose. Others may be able to comment on that.

It is everything that we had hoped for and more. The cooler works great! Don't know about the warmer have not used it as of yet but it does get warm.

It’s functional - haven’t tried the heating function - we thought it would be a good addition to our bedroom. But it’s LOUD - my wife hates the noise - we hardly use it.

Only had it for 4 months now and it has quit working. I am upset that I cannot get a new one to replace this one.

There are some sharp edges on the door, if your not careful will scratch your arm reaching in. But otherwise extremely pleased with it's performance.
